Are those Eames chairs? I have the same exact chair but it's a living room piece, nice job!

Unfortunately they're replicas, not real deal Herman Miller Eames.

All six were less than one authentic chair and for the price, I've been pleasantly surprised with the quality. One day I'll get the real thing(s).

Bought a red replica myself for my computer desk from Target for 80 bucks. It's a chair, it sits, i'm fine.

macallan 18, glenrothes, monkey shoulder - i can dig it

yea the Macallan 18 was a gift from my gf on our anniversary, the JW Blue was a 25th bday present last year from my best friend, but I don't like it.

Monkey Shoulder is amazing - one of my go to's. Especially with cigars.

I haven't opened the Glenrothes yet.

For my 26th bday last weekend I had some great whiskey - Hibiki 12, Yamazaki 12 yr, and Auchentoshan 12 yr. Gonna buy bottles of all 3

from one whiskey enthusiast/connoisseur to another, salut on the nice bar.

something i really like in houses is plants. Go to home depot and ask about some indoor plants that dont require much maintenance. Really adds a lot to the house and the color green enhances your creativity.

For the dude that said spray cologne on lightbulbs, i'd be worried about that starting a fire

great gift's but macallan 18 and JW Blue are so overpriced.

I finished a bottle of Glenrothes Select Reserve, I wouldn't buy it again though nor am I really interested in other Glenrothes bottles unless I do a tasting.

Yamazki 12 is great, I finished a bottle of that recently, haven't tried Hibiki 12 yet, also waiting to try Hakashu.

Agree on Monkey Shoulder - for a $30 bottle amazing value and taste, I've gone through about 3 bottles.

Just picked up Auchentoshan I believe it's triple wood, not the 12 yr.

My go to's are Oban 14 and Balvenie DW 12.

I doubt I've ever seen monkey shoulder as I usually skip the blended section, but sounds like I gotta try it.

So there you have it - I'm thrilled with the way it came out. Still a work in progress - adding a dvd/book case under the script in the space between the couch and wall. Got a lot more to do but I think it's amazing.

Thoughts?

That Good Will Hunting screenplay/script is so ballin dude.

thank you - one of my fist show pieces i bought for the apt when I wanted to decorate. Signed by both Ben Affleck and Matt Damon - the geniuses who wrote the film and won an oscar for the writing by age 25. Just amazing

Screenplay is dope but those Banksy prints or whatever gotta go. It's not even about the prints themselves, rather their size - they are entirely too small for the walls they are hung up on.

I originally had this thought, but the more I looked at it the more I was okay with the size. I didn't want the pieces over powering the room nor the colors surrounding the room.

i really like the colors you went with for the walls. and the dark furniture pieces look good in there too.

i agree with the size of the prints, way too small for where you have them placed.
If yu really like the prints get a couple more and add them, otherwise it's too much empty wall

Congrats on the place homie. One suggestion/opinion I have is to go blinds > curtains. I had the a temporary curtain up while I waited for new blinds to be installed in my bedroom and I couldn't stand it.. and it was only for a week or so :lol .

Ladies and gentleman: I proudly present the dvd storage shelf I put together all by myself. And a fully alphabetized dvd collection. Patting myself on the back for sure!

Guardians of the Galaxy Figures to be added to the top of the shelf tomorrow.

I hate the way blinds look, that's why I went curtains. my place is lacking lots of windows for natural light so I'll rarely have them closed

just went to Bed Bath and Beyond...and thanks to gift cards...got $188 worth of stuff for $14. Still feels like there is a million things to get for the home

Can anyone recommend a good wireless/Bluetooth speaker for the bedroom? Looking to spend around $100-150. Clarity with decent bass at mid to low volume is what I'm looking for.

I bought a soundfreaq speaker from target for $70 and have been very happy with it. They have 3 or 4 different options. Mine is the mid level.
