Air Jordan XXXVI (36) first info…

I tried to break in my 35s for more than a month. using them atleast twice a week for casual use. returned them after the shoe caused me so much pain even without wearing them. suffered an injury just by wearing them. took me atleast 3 months to start recovering from the pain.

the Jumps took about 2-3 wears before they became a lot more comfortable. now, it's practically the best cushion feel among the shoes that I have.

the 12s for me are not that easy to break in. they still feel like comfortable bricks.
I don't understand how they can make basketball shoes that can injure a person's foot. I wore basketball shoes my whole life never had foot problems. I play a few games in a 29 low and have permanent nerve damage in my 4th toe for 5yrs now.

Wow 5 years????? :ohwell:

36 low not a great fitting shoe for me either. When 1/2 size up and have some slippage at the heel on my right foot. But I can tell that they’d feel tight on the toes if I went TTS. I’m going to keep them for casual use and wear them with thick socks.

I blame myself for having feet that are slightly different sizes :rolleyes

I loved the 29 mids but I had a similar problem with the 29 Lows. They seem to fit a whole size smaller because of the way it was knitted.

Nothing you guys haven’t seen but I’m happy to have scooped these. Again thanks to airsully23 for the heads up!

Even though I'm a GSW fan, I really like that Spark Green cw :emoji_sweat_smile: ! What's the deal with those XDR soled ones (light green outsole?) versus the translucent soled version? Are they an overseas release, as I can only see the translucent outsoled ones?

I'd sell my Grinches for those!

On a side note, Black laces would make them look even more better! :emoji_sunglasses:

After a few full court runs today and Wednesday night, the mids definitely perform better than the lows. I will be going back to the mids when I’m playing those 5v5s. I don’t see the lows heavy in the rotation unless I am shooting around by myself before I head to work.

I just keep feeling the slippage even after tightening up. I don’t want to half size down then they’ll be too narrow. The pinky toe pain- thing is nonexistent on the mids after breaking them in, in my experience.

I believe I ran a similar issue with the 34 lows back then. loved the mid 34s but the lows were horrible fit. it's either too small or too long and my feet kept sliding inside the shoe.

Pretty surprised at the MSRP for these. Retro Jordans and AM97 cost more or have a similar MSRP to these.

With the tech and as a Jordan Signature sneaker, I was almost certain that these were at least $200. I’m not complaining just an observation lol

Dope. I'll look into it. The regular version is still really good looking! Even with the translucent outsole, I think they'll age gracefully. The yellowing would actually blend well with the overall cw.

Grinch sole are PF and they’re available in Asia (tw, Hk, etc). I’m the opposite I feel the translucent sole looks better on the sparks as well as the infra mids and I prefer solid outsole almost 99% of the time. Love that grinch sole but would prefer a mono if they were doing solid.

Pardon my ignorance, but what’s “PF”?

i recall others (probably weartesters) saying it stands for "performance fit". in JBs case its usually a XDR sole and a wider fit to cater to the Asia market? i presume XDR sole also doesn't necessary mean translucent since the sunsets has a PF version as well.

P.S. my observation is that PF are made for regular GRs? special edition or PE like Ruis, Lukas, etc seems consistent across the globe.
