I acetoned the whole shoe before any paint was reapplied I'm assuming that those red parts are still acetoned. I might reacetone the toe box area but right now I'm just reapplying where the cracks are. The paint concoction I made is a mix of black matte and duller finisher. I'm repainting the parts with regular black leather paint then I'll reapply layers with my concoction.

I dont repaint midsoles anymore. It never lasts lol

Yep! I can't wait for the fire reds. I'm copping 2 pairs of every Nike Air OG colorway of III's they release in this new mold.

Oh wow that’s not nearly as bad as I had imagined. I bet touch-ups would be way more to it than just throwing a quick coat of black on there, trying to get it matched back in and whatnot I’m sure could be tricky. Another reason I’ve not taken the plunge too is the sheer work involved. I’ve got kids and a thousand unfinished projects as is. Don’t really need to add to that pile haha

My customized RCs still look good but I've probably only worn them 5-6 times. It's worth it to me. The 2018 BC 3s are horrible.

I wore them a few times and just wore them like I generally wear sneakers. It looks good but they require touch ups. I'm reluctant to do that because I put in mad work on them to keep reapplying paint. The black on the rest of the shoe is immaculate though.

I feel you, i painted mine too and its starting to crack more. About to leave it as it is Chi to LA SB's style.

The WCs definitely look way too bulky. The BC3s are closer to that IG post but it still looks like a sloppily built shoe.

Yeah the next rendition gotta have less elephant print. Every time I come in this thread I get the urge to sell my DS 2018 pair.

Then I realize that 3 is such a dope shoe. I’m on my 4th pair since 2018. Literally wore pair 1 everyday for two weeks because of how versatile they are.
