These will be my first pair of 3's so I'm in for 1 pair regardless of how different they may be from the actual 1988 OG Black Cements. Would be nice to get a nice pair with lower EP on the toe but I won't nitpick. As long as I get a pair that isn't screwed in the QC department I'll be content.

You’re the only one in here crusading against the Original shoe. A lot of people in here have voiced their disappointment in the execution of this retro. Each and every opinion has a place in here criticizing this release. The same goes for the people who like this shoe and plan on purchasing it. The problems arise when the fanboys in here get upset that this isn’t a circle jerk admiration for this shoe. I swear anyone who claims anyone is crying are the type of people who need safe spaces created for them because their echo chamber isn’t being complied with.

We all know the 88, 94, and 01 are different. None of them had that inflated bulky toe box with a banana curve either. It’s like a virus that’s infected most of the retros. It’s really sad. I remember a time when that’s how you knew the shoe was fake. Now that means they’re legit.

Everything on those fakes is atrocious. The plastic (I'm not really sure it is) leather, Nike Air heel logo looks very sloppy, just every damn thing. I'm sorry Aquamanjay_ , I'm just not seeing what the rest of y'all are seeing. They look like what I'd imagine if Jordan's completely fell off, and ended up being sold at stores, like Wal-Mart. The only thing that looks even remotely decent, is the elephant print, on the toe box. The actual shoes don't look much better, either. This is just all my opinion, though. Like I said before, the only thing that looks great on the retail's, are the heel logos.​

Yeah, but the next retro will be more of a take down model of 1999 Retro.

All that will be changed is the material of the upper, and the Jumpman's will be replaced with Nike accents. Nothing will be done about the compressed, low top banana shape, lack of ankle support, and paper thin,shin guard, that they pass off as a tongue. Oh, the netting and bottom eyelets will be corrected, but none of what I mentioned, should've never been tampered with, in the first place.

The 2012's don't even look right on feet...
