They are called Katrina 3s bc that colorway was made and auctioned off for a charity for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Name kinda fits them now right? Lol

Took me a long time to sell my fire red threes earlier this year and I didn't get what they were worth. Kinda funny how this site creates hype. Feature a shoe in a thread on the main page here and people go crazy.

A pair of the 06 so like i was saying the black has to get lighter over time. This more so og than the Katrina IMO. If anyone was on the fence and didnt like the EP should consider this. This is like the 2002 "raptors" will "fade" in the same areas as the og

your timing was just bad. no one is going to pay true market value for a shoe that is retroing later in the year.. especially if its a GR.

I'll be camping (REAL camping, not shoe camping 
) next weekend so I'll be passing on these. If they're still sitting when I get back on the Monday I'll consider them. The Fire Red IV's sat here for at least a week, it'll be interesting to see if these do the same. If they do sell out no biggie, I prefer the Katrina's over these anyways.

As far as I know, most people just use nail polish remover / acetone to remove the paint that's already on the shoe and then paint from scratch.

i like the darker elephant print its a must cop for me but i agree with the FR 5's that pair keeps growing on me, also i feel like the 3's will be a easier cop since everyone seems to be passing on them for the FR 5's
