If you feet are not too wide, even 0.5 down shouldn't be a problem. I'm usually a 10.5 but tried a size 10 in the Black Cat yesterday just in case for the White/Red next week. I took a 10.5 for my 2015 Grey Toe but I have no doubt that a size 10 would have been good. Just to give you an indication, 2014-and up VIs and IVs actually fit me in size 10 than in a 10.5. For some reason, I feel live Js have been running slightly big since 2014.
P.-S.: since my Js are only for casual wear, I actually wear dress socks.
