The one thing that seems to be on every pair is, that head-on view of the toe: The lateral side is lower than the medial side, and it seems that's just how these are made for some reason. I'm gonna test the iron trick on the first pair I've been beating up since release.

My Cements from last year were like that and kinda flattened themselves out a little with some wear.

Yeah it's just the way they are. Of all my pairs, only two of them came with reasonably equal and slimmer toes on the left and right shoes. I'm not even sweating it because I know it's not a case of me being unlucky and getting a bad pair. I feel like I could order 10 more pairs and not even get a single one that has matching toes.

they're actually acceptable on feet since the overall shape is sleek enough. should they have made them sleeker? of course. the smokey sole is what i've come to appreciate lol when i was a kid with the OGs i was cheesed they weren't icey like the patents.

You got that right x1000, brotha. Like every retro, they could be better. But regardless, these are sick. Just happen to be wearing them right now. Hilarious how no one cares about them :smh:

I haven’t wore mines, yet, but I’m definitely going too! I wonder with the weather being cold, Will my feet get cold due to the air vents?

Most OGs care about them or at least i know i do,
hopefully they remain a lowkey favorite for selfish reasoning lol.
Really gotta get around to doing a group shoot so i can unds my pair its like a tradition of sorts now before wearing certain additions.

I remember when the 2003 version of the lows came out they sold really well and in many places they sold out,.......and those were not even close to the Originals, but these that are seems only the older crowd knows about them.

2016 Concord revisted for you im guessing? lol
Never been too toe crazy but do have a trick that helps with sloping it down a bit and thats shoe trees.
Shoe trees and general wear helps to stretch it out a bit to get a little of that slanted toe appeal that some really tend to like. Only thing with IEs is that the side panels jut out to the front so in time it tends to bunch more than sleek completely down like it does on the mids.

Issue seems to be how it was seated into the midsole. Something that can be corrected with reglue but that of course is way down the line with these as separating fresh adhesive is a *****. Now i wonder if mine sit flush or have a bit of a slant, think ill hammer out the sneaker porn shoot today or sometime this week and will check.

It's not even worth worrying about for me. I wish they were 1:1 with the OGs, but for once I'm not sweating the toes or anything else. Had to wait so long for these again. They look good on feet and the materials are at least pretty solid for a modern JB retro. I still haven't had a chance to see what the good old iron trick might be able to accomplish on the toes, but I will soon. Either way, I remain super happy every time I throw them on. Even with the bulky toes, they still look cool overall, and this is one of the most versatile Jordans of all time in terms of how it can be worn.

Think you and i are on the same page with these no doubt. Sure there may be things that take away from a 1:1 but the same could be said about the 2019s yet i still see both as perfect renditions with their own individuality.
Give nike alot of **** for a number of reasons within recent years but these are beautiful.
There are the 96OGs and then there is these and man i couldnt be more pleased with the execution materials quality shape and all.
