Hey guys, I know I promised to post pics of the height of each of the Bred 1's I own. I suck at taking pics and they are taken with my iPhone. Here they are:

The 1994 sole isn't completely flat (they all come sort of curved; other owners will know what I mean) from behind but I've naturally placed it on the table as close to the edge as possible to ensure they are all on even surface.

94s and 01s have the same quality leather, 1994 retros were possible the best overall retro. 2013s are the most accurate to the 1985 original, but each version has their own distinct differences. 1994 and 2001 had duarbuck swooshes, which chip and crack over time. 2013s leather was slightly hard but still good, different sockliner too. 1994s were even higher cut than the 1985 originals.

I'd say the Banned 1 has the best quality, second would be 1994, close third 2001 and finally 2013.

Truest to OG, I'd say 1994.

94's are durable just like the 85's. When I say durable i mean stiff for support. Thick high collar, thicker midsole, & bulging heel cup. Only difference is the nubuck swoosh, which was also thinner, non painter collar, and a higher cut toe box.

Banneds are just in a different class.

Not the exact same, but Lance Mountain has some good leather.

$650 isn't too bad if it's DS. If memory serves me right, the cheapest I've found is $700 DS in my size off of CL.
