LBJ has more talent than MJ but MJ is the GOAT

I am lucky enough to have watched both their careers minus MJ's 80's seasons which I don't remember

seen Jordan play against the 76ers but nosebleed seats..what I do remember is how quick he was

Not to derail this thread but the fact that people who never saw Jordan play for a second debate that he's the greatest ever irks me. My 18 year old nephew was debating me about Jordan vs Lebron and I was like "outside of youtube highlights you've never seen Jordan play!" I think Jordan has become almost god-like since he's retired. People act like he never struggled, like he never missed a shot or lost a game!

I was too young for Michael's first 3 peat, but I got to see his 2nd 3 peat and Wizards days :nthat:

Then doesn't that mean a 18 year old has limited knowledge and can't say who is the best?

so people who say babe ruth is the best baseball player ever shouldn't say that

Babe Ruth being a beast pitcher and homerun hitter should have him in the convo.

UA needs some better designers for their athletic apparel and footwear. I think they've only been making shoes for about 10 years. The recent Currys looked fine. They can also get more into lifestyle apparel as well.

Endorsements would definitely play a major part in how much traction they gain. Steph was a good choice. They would've lucked up with Cam if he won the Super Bowl.

They got a roster of mvps like curry, cam, harper, and brady but only making shoes for curry right now. At least make bryce some crosstrainer shoes if they don't already. They need to make a new logo to put on their shows because the current one doesn't look right except for maybe on the tongue or heel.

 You never seen the man play so how would you know

Lol @ sneaker craze

Babe Ruth was cool but considering the MLB back then was strictly white and they didn't have black and Hispanic players, he wasn't nothing special.

I don't think people under 30 care about Jordan and Nike nostalgia like we do

they do because Aesthetics wise da 70-90's stuff just looks better on da eyes, even to da most casual of fans.

da design language of old translate to casual now..its da performance depts thats suffering da most now.

Jordan 1,s,3,s,4,s,5,s,6,s11,s are there bread and butter. If done with quality materials close to there original format with only 1 OG model number releasing every 2 to 3 years. 3 to 4 + retro CW,s in between every 1 to 2 years. They need to basically stop releasing the retros so much. Theyve bastardized the retros for greed. But common sense will tell you there going to have to stop doing that eventually. Because its takin away from the mystique of what Jordan's use to be.

OG CW 1,s,3,s,and 11,s still appeal to the masses. Most fashion is about limited availability. Once the product is massed produced with over saturation. The popularity it once had will decline. Whats sad and funny at the same time about Nike/Jordan Brand situation. Is what Ninjahood said. Everybody on this site knows what there problem is. They dont care about whats popular right now. Which are shoes that look good from a casual/lifestyle standpoint.

Nike and Jordan Brand designers are only worried about the performance aspect of a shoe. They can care less about how the shoe looks on the streets. There just surviving off of what they created in the 80,s-90,s. Most of those shoes had casual appeal. Hence the reason why there still somewhat popular. Maybe the higher ups dont realize that. That maybe why there only focused on the tech instead of the look/fashion of a new shoe.

Even though hes a headache. Letting Kanye go was Nikes biggest mistake future wise. Im not his biggest fan. But he did push the casual/lifestyle/streetwear trend thats popular now. Whover declined to not resign him has to be kicking themselves. They wouldve benifited more from him staying rather than leaving. He single handedly changed what Adidas was as a company. I only like the low cut Yeezy Boost in the light CW,s (Dark CW,s not so much).

Nike probably was thinking why should we give him more creative control/money. Hes just a Black Rapper. But they didn't realize whats popular to the youth of today as far as fashion is concerned. Was going to become the biggest money maker in fashion/clothing. If kanye was Leonardo D or Mark W. Nike wouldve gave him what he wanted. Because hes a arrogant, egotistical, confident BLACK man. It was no go. What they dont understand. Is that BLACK culture is what made Nike what it is today.

From a style look. Everybody else followed suite after we made wearing there shoes in abundance on the streets and in movies and television. From a progressive prospective. Nike is losing momentum. Because there stuck in there old way of thinking. They talk performance only. While the majority of there new models are trash looking from a casual standpoint. They became what they where because people bought there shoes equally for casual wear. Just as much as far ballin in.

Companies can sign Asap and Kendrick all day. There talented musically. But thats where it stops. Im not looking at them for fashion at all. Style wise there not trend setters in my opinion. I dont see anything theyve worn to influence a large amount of people to follow. Companies think Rappers are trendsetters because of what Kanye did. Rappers do influence to a certain extent. But every Rapper isnt a foward thinking trendsetter.

but if you didn't see them play how can you make that assessment...... nvm, you aren't the poster i was quoting, but i don't really care who they call the baseball goat, i was just saying that not seeing someone doesn't negate an opinion, if there is support for your claim

s/n was babe ruth mixed?

New Survey Claims Under Armour Shoes Are Officially Uncool

A new survey by Wells Fargo has officially confirmed it: Under Armour shoes are uncool. The study, which was aimed at young male consumers, found that only 27% of the participants scored the brand highly, with adidas hitting 70% and Nike coming top with 81% of consumers liking the brand.

The survey had more bad news for Under Armour when it came to whether or not respondents were more likely to start buying the brand’s footwear. Around 33% of participants said that they were less likely to buy Under Armour shoes, while only 17% said the likelihood of them buying Under Armour footwear had increased. This gave the brand a net score of -17%, putting it at bottom place in the study.

The news from Wells Fargo perhaps isn’t surprising, with a number of recent stories pointing to the brand’s declining fortunes. Last month, Kevin Durant claimed that “nobody wants to play in Under Armours,” which sent the company’s stocks crashing, while a few weeks before that the brand announced that its sales performance had led to it cutting 280 jobs.

ASAP Rocky aren't wearing UAs :lol

I don't see Jordan's hitting that level of hype

JB releases the same sneakers every couple years

durant saying that sent ua stocks crashing? Didn't know he had that much effect on the stock market.

Went to my local mall at Finishline for the first time in months and noticed some of the changes.

For first time ever the walls by the entrance where rearranged by Adidas first then Nike and lastly Jordan’s.

Adidas merchandise was also upfront as well.

Muiltiple Nike’s with sale discounts and Jordan 13’s Breds still sitting.

Something you will not see in years past. Kanye really got the last laugh.

The only Nike’s that look like we’re selling and no discounts were the Vapormax and Huraches.

Which is crazy because to me all these Adidas are trash and straight copy from Nike. The Vapormax alone look more better to me than any Adidas.

I do give it up to Adidas on their apperal clean designs and better prices. All Nike’s nice pieces at the store were ridiculous prices. $130 for a hoodie. Crazy.

per. But they didn't realize whats popular to the youth of today as far as fashion is concerned.

in Nike's defense, they were threatened by "fashion casual" before and they stuck to their guns with tech and tech won out...

i believe long term by not compromising performance for fashion, they'll be ok in da long run.
