Real fans care more about the team's development as a whole, rather then a 40/50 point game, copped.

'Antoni Hints That Gallinari Is Becoming Darko:
Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni has taken a big shot at young forward Danilo Gallinari.
D'Antoni says that Gallinari has become too detached and must "turn his motor up."
In the three games since New York landed Tracy McGrady, Gallinari has scored 6, 5 and 7 points and has taken no more than eight shots.
D'Antoni's opinion on Gallinari doesn't sound all too different than his evaluation of Darko Milicic, who was traded one week ago to Minnesota.
at the article title. How the %@@@ is saying that a player needs to "turn his motor up" comparing him to one of the biggest draft busts of all time??? Maybe i missed something but where in the world did D'Antonio mention ANYTHING about Darko??Media FTL
I agree that Gallo needs to step his @$@% up a bit, but hes going through a little slump, hes basically a rookie @$@% like that should be expected, and D'Antoni should say @$@% like that to motivate him, but how the %@@@ is that comparing him to Darko?? Gallos first season this year is better than ANY of Darkos
In December, Milicic told The Post he could "practice like bleeping Michael Jordan'' and it wouldn't have mattered.
D'Antoni cracked this morning, "Yeah he was. What is Michael? About 59?.''

Mike did have a good quote about Darko, though.

Tracy McGrady-G/F- Knicks Feb. 27 - 3:38 am et
Tracy McGrady failed to finish Friday's overtime win against the Wizards after his knee tightened up late in the game.
T-Mac had 23 points, but left with about 2 1/2 minutes remaining in the third quarter and did not return. Coach Mike D’Antoni wanted to bring T-Mac back in with about three minutes left, but McGrady said his knee had tightened and he didn't want to return. As usual, owners should get used to stories about McGrady and his knee.

On his Twitter page, Brian Windhorst of the Cleveland Plain Dealerreported that the Cavs have drawn up a couple of new plays toincorporate Antawn Jamison into their offense.
He then says that the Knicks -- whom the Cavs play next -- will notknow about the new plays because coach Mike D'Antoni "can't be botheredwith advance scouting."
These Cleveland people are funny. Insist LeBron isn't going anywhere yet still feel the need to take shots at the Knicks.. whatever makes them sleep well at night.
Yeah, Mike D'Antoni doesn't watch game film.
Now of course, RealGM tried to spin this as any having type of credible source or story.
No, that just means more jokes about how fragile Tmac is.Originally Posted by Al3xis
Well, that officially ends any talk about it.
