Similar to the Jimmy Butler trade from years back, this feels like Minnesota jumping the gun a few years too early. Ant is my guy but I don't think he's ready to be THE GUY on a championship contender yet. And he's going to have to be because we already know what it is with KAT, DLo, and Goober.

hella pressure on a 3rd year player. minny had plenty of time on their side to continue growing and putting pieces around Ant and KAT thru the draft. even if the DLo experiment doesn’t work, by the end of that trio, they would be getting Ant approaching the doorstep of his prime and KAT still in his. I would have waited to go all in then.

why push all your chips in now only to be a 2nd round team at best?
