Just finished rewatching the Finals...Cavs gave up too easily within the last 5 minutes of the game

KD was fuego in the 4th
Iggy and Dray made some clutch plays

Bron gave up at least 6 points in the last 5 mins playing lazy D. He kept attacking.. sure but they need to stop the dubs on scoring too

No one other than JR and LeBron wanted the ball
Fools looked scared
I will let Myrie slide though, bruh was clearly injured.

And yeah that defense was atrocious
Had that deer in the headlight look almost every Warriors possession.

Which is why I agreed with Freeze when he said LeBron was stat-padding at the end. He didn't seem interested in the slightest bit to play defense. It seemed as if he was only concerned with getting the ball back and attacking the basket so the game would close out ASAP.

Y'all realize if JR only scored half his points tonight, the Cavs would've gotten BLOWN OUT again? The Cavs are piss poor on defense and don't have the firepower to keep up with the Warriors. IDC what anyone says. Offense isn't going to stop the Warriors. You practically need everyone from 1-5 with the ability to switch on defense, grab boards and stay disciplined on defense. Right now, the current Cavs team does not have that.

Let's see what the offseason holds for Cleveland.

BTW, that Nick Wright dude is such a troll. Posting a picture of his confirmed plane ticket back to Cleveland. No **** he has to book a flight, because Fox is paying for the flight anyway and he would've had to book it anyway just incase. What a cornball

tonight better. no excuses. 2015, they could say kyrie and love hurt. bron had the team built to the exact specifications that he wanted and took that L, it glorious fashion. This way better. Especially after that L last year.

Someone else said that and look how that worked out. I think Lebron will be back next year with new reinforcements. It'll be interesting sure enough to see the landscape of both teams. Anything can happen during the regular season. Neither of these teams won two back to back so only time will tell if GSW will do that next year or if Lebron will get his revenge a second time....or who knows, what if there are new challengers on both sides and someone new makes it to the finals...time will tell.

The cavs played it horribly though. Not one time did KD set a good enough pick where kyrie couldn't fight over the screen. They keep sending soft *** traps on Curry on got killed cause of it.

Game 5 was almost a whole new scheme, with the Dubs being more PnR, more offball screens near the paint, and attacked the paint even more instead of settling for 3s. The dagger was when KD and Curry started the PnR game. Boy were the Cavs lost on defense.

Also didn't help the Cavs that LeBron was looking to outscore instead of actually being balanced in trying to facilitate not only the offense, but also the defense. Where's Lue at for that btw?

My memory isn't that great on this. When did the GSW start the Curry/Durant PnR? I watched a reply and didn't see it being run by the end of the 4th.

During that run they made in 2nd quarter was when the PnR game started poppin. Also did it in crucial moments of the 3rd and in the middle of the 4th quarter.

When Dubs grabbed the lead, they never lost it. Yeah I know it got close at some points, but Cavs got too tired by the end and gave up.

Acutally, they have already used the Curry/KD PnR. I believe in game 1 or 2. It's just those 2 games were not close that's why they have no reason to keep using it.

I was implying JR scored an abnormal amount of points game 5. Usually he'd score around 10-12 points if he's lucky playing at Oracle.

Had he played like he has been prior to this game, the Cavs would've gotten the brakes beaten off them.

I do realize Love had a weak game as well, so maybe it evens out. But still. No one had JR showing up tonight. Especially in an away game.

CP3 will be a Spur and at least one of PG/Melo/Wade will be a Cav

The way the Cavs salary is constructed, it's going to be tough... They have to move a couple of guys Love or TT pair with Shump or JR... If it's not going to land you PG13, you stand pat and just try to improve that bench. Add more 3 and D guys, and hope Warriors come back down to earth a little.
