The ref shocked the world with that flag :{

Ref fell off the face of the earth after that game...prob got a nice retirement package :lol

imlive365 imlive365 The recruiting is terrible though.
I mean Miami is in the weaker side of the ACC and they let like a 6-5 Duke or something silly like that Play for the Conference chip against FSU
Something is off there, and it's the recruitment.

My girl has twin nephews that were recruited there, one signed at Florida and the other at Texas, they said Miami was a **** hole. (Their reasoning)

Dude knows he wasn't being honest when he said "Miami's recruiting is fine".

Lol, come on. My comment may have been harsh, but the recruitment sucks whether it's by my reasoning or another reasoning. Straight up
Do you follow recruiting at all or just assume since Miami isn't on top so there not recruiting well. Go look at pass recruiting classes. 2011 and 2013 were average at best but we've also had a investigation going on which impacted recruiting and we still had a top 10 class in 2012 and last year we had a top 10 according to some ranks.

Well we just beat the gators last year and they lost to Georgia southern so who's the **** hole now? 6-5 duke? :lol we went 9-3 last year in the regular season and started 7-0 in till injuries struck and ran into the National champs. Duke was not 6-5 and they should have beat Texas a&m last year

Dude just hates Miami and finding any way to bash them.

A-Fiend who do you like?

Georgia southern > Florida last year.

And where am I bumping my gums? I said we've been recruiting fine other then the middle of the dline were pretty much pretty deep this year and maybe line backer.
Cool. Was waiting on you to brag about beating a four win team but you didn't take the bait.

Wasn't directly coming at you but was at the rest of you bUm fans. I argue with canes and noles everyday, so I'm just taking it to the net now.

No way you can say recruiting is fine with the best Dade/Broward players leaving down south. Back in the day it was a given for SoFla kids to go Coral Gables with the exception of fsu and uf getting one every so often.

Dat escalation tho :eek :lol :lol

But yea, CFB as a whole is still highly enjoyable, no doubt. To me, it's just like the equivalent of the Yankees being good in baseball, Lakers in basketball, etc. Sure the sport doesn't necessarily need it, per se, but it only helps if they are.

But this is coming from a Buckeye fan who feels like we kinda started the whole Miami slippage when we shocked the world at the Fiesta Bowl :lol :Nthat.

Still cant believe that flag.

I do follow recruiting but mostly in my State. You definitely would know more about Miami recruiting than I, so.
I digress.

I will just say Miami has been terrible as of late, and you fill in the blank with what ever reason suits you as to why. I'm no Miami expert by any means

We beat you guys when you were healthy before your whole injury situation happened. That was not a 4 win team. We couldn't fully recruiting with the ncaa taking 3 years to do there thing and you guys and fsu telling players were gonna get the death penalty and sanctions. This class is looking really really good coming up tho.

Yea, completely not true. But just spew that for the sake of your troll.

My bad for derailing the thread by saying that I'm anxious for the game tomorrow. Dudes love to troll the Canes.

Dudes bashing Miami recruiting when some of their all time players were not highly recruited.

When Coker started going after all them 4-5 stars is when Miami fell off

You know how many studs come from the U even if they've been subpar for a awhile now? Boy I tell you :lol

#FFFFFF :rollin

With Week 1 being over sans the Labor Day game(s), how would you grade your team's performance this weekend?

I'd give Syracuse a generous C/C-. This was a game straight out of the Greg Robinson era. Coach Shafer wasn't happy with the win, but as Floyd Little said, a win is a win and we're 1-0. Like other teams that struggled this weekend, I'm hoping that this was just shaking off the rust from the Summer and that they'll look better against Central Michigan after the bye week. The running game really struggled. The depleted O-Line and lack of a power back like Jerome Smith really showed with our inability to score on the goal line.
Taking out Prince-Tyson Gulley's 65-yard touchdown run, SU logged 33 rushing attempts for 71 yards. And most notably, the Orange was denied the end zone on five power running plays inside the 3-yard line during overtime.

Our backup, Austin Wilson, has to be credited immensely for holding it down following Hunt's ejection. The playbook wasn't designed for him as 90% of the plays are for a faster tempo offense which Hunt obviously is the center of. There wasn't much positive to take away from this game. This team has a lot of issues and only has this bye to really sit down and break what went wrong down. Six wins and a bowl berth seems like a stretch.

I wanted no parts of that there. Was only giving my opinion, that I still believe

Goes to show that whole #1 class with the northwestern players did nothing. Only baller was spence hopefully he gets his shot this year for the Steelers

Duke smashed the u last season

Not true. Matt Jones didn't practice til damn near game week because of a viral infection. Driskell only practiced the last week of fall camp after appendix surgery. Chaz Green tore his ACL and I think we was out another O-lineman. Our defense kept you bums in check outside of Marcus Maye blowing a coverage over the top. Hell we gave y'all the ball three times with dumb *** turnovers. Hell two of the turnovers was in the red zone. Duke didn't get 70 yards against us. Ask fool who had the best defense he played against.. look up his answer when the media asked him during ACC media days.

This s***. I had already jumped up and down in celebration before that flag was reached for.

That should have been the 3rd one in a row.

All of this could be avoided if you bums would just schedule us. Stop being scared of getting an L like usual and play us. It wasn't like driskell was a freshman starting his first game him not practicing dosent affect anything. Jones shouldn't have been playing. The defense was full strength and shut us down I'll give you that.

Never that.. miami is some ****

Those Big East glory days over. You fools are washed up

Better win that weak *** division y'all in before you kick dirt at UF since we going back in history.

Still crying about that Ohio State game ****
