Anyone else thinking of Baylor jumping Ohio State? I don't care if OSU has beat 8 bowl teams because that include Illinois, rutgers, maryland, virginia tech, and navy.

No nobodies thought of that at all, what a revelation!

Heard University of Alabama played a huge part in it

That's an understatement.

The University of Alabama system has 3 campuses: Tuscaloosa (UA), Birmingham (UAB) and Huntsville (UAH). But the Board of Trustees that governs them leans heavily in favor of UA. Many people saw this as a political move. They've never given UAB a fair chance (a proposal for an on-campus stadium was killed by the Board a few years ago, and Paul Bryant Jr kept Jimbo Fisher from being hired there as well). UAB more than doubled its attendance this year AND was bowl-eligible for the first time in like 10 years...

Sucks my old high school football coach, Bill Clark got shafted big time. Another reason to hate the Tide as of there were any more needed.

All over some petty **** because Bama didn't want to let UAB compete and apparently somebody wrote a letter accusing Bear Bryant of cheating 40+ years ago and them dummies in T-Town haven't let it go.

If he's the 1st choice no. If he's who we have to settle for because everyone else turned is down then maybe. Not sold on him at all, but Foley gonna Foley.

 UAB getting done dirty

Kentucky will forever be a basketball program, kids just aren't lining up to go there. They get the leftovers, only way I see them getting good is if they pull an Ole Miss and really pay up. That's the only way for them.

And the fact that Stoops has no buyout makes me believe that he won't be there long anyways.

Florida and USCe had awful years. I just wanted to know which programs UK was going to pass. Haven't answered that yet.

If you can't acknowledge that kentucky looked improved then idk what to say. Not sure how many players they're losing after this season but stoops got a lil something going up there.

But I understand most of yall don't watch Cfb unless it's a top 25 matchup.

@wildKYcat
come talk to these non believers man.

:lol

well, it ain't too hard to improve on a 2 win season. they'll return basically everyone on offense including 4 starting O-linemen, but will lose 2 DE's who will be playing on sundays. schedule is favorable next season with 8 home games (including Fla, Tenn, Mizzou, and Louisville.) The realistic goal at UK should be to win no less than 6 games every year and just be competitive and give yourself a chance to beat those SEC east teams and Louisville. Do that every year and there might be seasons in which 8, maybe 9 wins is possible, like what Rich Brooks did. That's as good as it can get at UK. Next year is as good a chance they'll have had to do that since Stoops has been here. (UofL is losing a lot next year) If he can continue to bring in top 25 classes he can sustain "success" at UK. that won't be easy by no means, but they're finally spending money with stadium upgrades and a new $50 million training facility, even doing mickey-mouse **** like all the new uni-combos. Like DaComeUP said, they have to go outside of Kentucky for players (can't let Damien Harris leave) and that really hampers recruiting. While they did beat South Carolina and gave Fla, Mizzou, Lou all they wanted... they got their brains beat in by LSU, Tenn, and Georgia... so it's hard to gauge. The atmosphere around the program has completely changed, but whether or not all that amounts to success remains to be seen. Once thing is certain, they won't lose Stoops due to $.

There were about 8 freshmen suspended this season for **** like shooting bb guns on campus, sexual assault, and other knucklehead things... so I know we're finally getting SEC-caliber players.

There is way to many rumors form one day man. I don't buy what blake James said one bit. They know what needs to be done now do it get this clown *** and his best pal out of here and send them back up north.

word is ECU's Lincoln Riley could be UK's next OC. haven't looked, but heard he did numbers on offense this season.

So what is he blind to the facts or does he just not understand the game of football and what the goal is?
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Cut and dry. If next year is another trash one, then I'm sure they'll fire him after that. Y'all know the admin doesn't care about football. No need to get worked up about it. I wanted him to get fired, but there was never any chance.
