I don't think Duke is ranked in any of the polls but, outside of them not being ranked I know nothing of them and they've played nobody's. I'd take a non ranked Gt vs Miami before I'd bet on Duke.
So in answer to your bet tmay, if I took the bet you'd leave NT forever, I'd just leave the thread, it'd have to be something along those lines

What I was pointing to in that example is that a team could move the ball and milk the clock against aTm, in which Rice did both, even though their defense was absolute trash. They ran the ball because they were getting positive yardage almost every rushing attempt. If they were giving that up to Rice, I can assure you that they'll have a long day on defense this Saturday.

I'm pretty sure for a while ESPN would only pay attention to the Coaches Poll and CBS only used the AP (or was it flipped?)

Obviously both polls matter or else "Split National Championship" wouldn't be a real thing.

Coaches/BCS awarded LSU a title and the AP awarded USC one in the same season just ten years ago.

All I know is this, when FSU loses and a new #1 is picked, me and everybody else in America will be checking the AP poll while Mamba checks the Coaches poll.



Now the Coaches poll is for preseason rankings though isn't it?
