I felt that maybe Pop should've been more aggressive with going after Pau for his 6th foul or something.  At some point, he's going to need to dig deep in that play book and have Kawaii run some 1 on 1 iso plays and take over a bit and SHOCK the CLIPPERS.  You just have to switch it up sometimes at crucial moments.  Parker missing FTs at the line was very concerning.  I suspect and wonder if it's cuz his heel.

Danny has to keep shooting, they eventually will fall in. I would like to see splitter play like he cares or stay on the bench. Beli should get more looks too.

Man..... before I get into a game recap, one thing must be said, and it has been said several times over.... START PATTY MILLS. Furthermore, why did he not play at all in the clutch, he missed one shot all game, yet Tony Parker was allowed to go 5-15 and stayed in during intentional foul time when hes shooting 58% from the line. Pop needs to walk over to Tony and give him the realest of real talk.

I agree on Mills. He's been phenomenal and playing like Parker should be playing. I have close to 0 confidence in Tony's jumper and his burst is gone.

Aside from the Patty Mills comments, I thought we played a really good game. The bench played GREAT, Boris in particular, the Hack-A-Player worked in our favour, Danny Green played marginal which I will take, still not enough Kawhi touches for my liking but I thought it was a good game. We did one thing we really didnt do previously and that was score in the half court set after the last DeAndre make on the free throws which is huge.

Down the stretch wasnt a lot of great execution, I didnt like what Kawhi did deferring to Danny Green of all people on a game icing play, keeping Tony Parker in during the intentional foul period, and that switch of Parker on Jordan could have very well cost us. But I will take it and Game 6 is right around the corner.

One thing I dont like that we're doing is that we're picking up Chris Paul way way way way WAY too far away from the basket. Picking him up at full court and even anywhere near the half court is just too far, he's gonna get a high screen and he's gonna blow by Danny Green or pass it to the huge guy Blake Griffin who's rolling and with either option the guy has a full head of steam going towards the basket. Doubt Pop stops doing that though he's been doing it for five games already.

As good as the series has been, it's nice to know that we're still winning with 2 of our starters playing the worst series of their lives.

Game day, I have some thoughts. I am still on my Start Patty Mills kick (I know its not going to happen) but even further than that, if we're going to keep doing this "Pick up Paul at 94 feet and try to have him fatigue himself getting up and down the floor every play" thing, then Corey Joseph has to get some more minutes. He's a good defender and hes extremely active, I dont think Paul could really blow by Joseph full court and we're not going to stop that DeAndre/Griffin Horns screen that they keep setting at the top of the three point line anyways but Corey would have a better chance at recovering than Danny Green and even Mills. 

We need more Kawhi Leonard touches, more Kawhi Leonard take the basketball and give Matt Barnes/JJ Reddick the work touches.

Kawhi Leonard shutting down JJ Reddick might be the most under rated story of this series. Reddick came into the series on fire and he's still going to get some baskets they've been hard. If I had to pick out the Clippers who are the most tired, Reddick is second.

He's the best coach in the league, but he isnt perfect. Coach Pop outthought himself on this one.

I missed the 1st half but it seems like Pop doesn't trust his hot hands. He put Mills and Marco back in a little too late.

Game 7 in LA isn't ideal and I have a bad feeling, but at the same time, I still have faith in Pop and Duncan to get the job done.

This was just a year filled with nagging injuries. I'm confident that we get it done tonight though, home or away it makes no difference, execution is execution.
