I'd welcome Steve Blake. He also went to high school with Haslem maybe he can lure him over.

This all gets resolved if the NBA converts to a hard cap.
But a majority of the players will not want that.

BREAKING: @TheNBPA in letter advises free agents to take paychecks over 18 months as lockout protection after 16-17 season
We called this the day the lockout ended in 2012. The players got screwed, and it's coming back in just a couple years.
[Statis] David Stern rules!!!!! [Statis]
When I'm wrong say I'm wrong.
I'm not following, what you referring to?
I don't think there will be a lockout once the TV deal kicks in.
watching practice in a polo and khakis and observing fisher isnt the same as being on the sidelines 82 games... having the know-how and experience to deal with in game changes situations. That is gonna take time... and a training camp, few practices during the season (since he isnt traveling with the team) isnt gonna make some huge difference,He's already said he will be very hands on with the team. Practices and everything. Fisher is his puppet.
Yes, this is why the majority of the players would not want a hard cap.I've often thought about this, but then what happens to the mid tier players? With a hard cap, I would assume the max contract goes away, then we're left with a situation where star players are getting like 40 mill per year (what I'd expect LeBron to get with a hard cap of 63 mill TBH) what happens to all the mid to low tier guys? Theyre going to get shafted. This all gets resolved if the NBA converts to a hard cap.

lol it would be a good strategy for the owners to use.... then the players instead of standing up and uniting against the league they would be bickering/fighting amongst each other.... on some divide and conquer..Yes, this is why the majority of the players would not want a hard cap.
Too many players are essentially living paycheck to paycheck for this to happen.NBA players are too *****. They need to strike and not back down in 2017 .
IDK why I sat there and explained that to you of all peopleYes, this is why the majority of the players would not want a hard cap.I've often thought about this, but then what happens to the mid tier players? It was mentioned many times during the last lockout as a reason why the players association couldnt allow it to go on for that long.

http://network.yardbarker.com/nba/a...t_top_5_players_losing_the_most_money/7861369Fans perception of NBA stars, they are all young, arrogant, spoiled millionaires who love to flash their millions. However, the NBA lockout is damaging many of the players’ livelihoods on a daily basis. According to Jerry Stackhouse, “many players live paycheck to paycheck.” If this is the case –after just one month into the lockout– most players are feeling the pinch, but the five players who stand to lose the most money if the lockout continues are Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett and Rashard Lewis and Gilbert Arenas.
