product wasnt that bad. they actually played decent ball during the second half all while missing lopez. heat run the east, so you didnt expect much (even with their reg season rec vs them)
i have a feeling the next nets coach is gonna get paid more than kidd

Not only that, they have a ton of cap space.
Once Vucevic, Oladipo, Gordon, Payton show they are legit players in this league, vets will start to look their direction and want in.
Magic will have the assets to make a big move to get someone, or they can stand pat and build with their young core, and buy up vets later down the line.
They have to stay patient tho, and not panic move like the Pelicans have been doing.

mo cheeks wasn't ousted by svg, Dude was dropped back in like january. and there was an interim for the last half of the season. svg wasn't even in talks with the team when garbage cheeks got cut.

When I heard Atlanta cleared cap space, I assumed it was for Deng. If they don't overpay and overplay him, it'll be a great pickup for the Hawks. Dude plays his heart out when he believes in his team.
I don't believe Rose said that about not wanting to recruit. I think it's his brothers/family speaking out on his behalf (or so it seems). Back in 2010 it was the exact same story smh. His family took care of him growing up, it's time they shut up and sit down somewhere.

i have season tickets to the pistons...i saw dude every home game...trust me...he's a terrible coach. Too much chill. Had his hands in his pockets and the lost face for the majority of his tenure. You can't tell me that pistons squad couldn't be way better with a better coach. Same guys, better coach. Jennings, smith, drummond, monroe, caldwell-pope, chauncey (here n there), etc. mind you i hate the pistons, I have the tickets just to see the other teams, I'm a laker fan, but these guys arent terrible terrible, just zero direction and discipline.

Mo cheeks should have never got the job in the first place. hes not a good coach, not saying no other coach wouldnt have had issues with the group especially josh smith playing the 3 but yea. Mo cheeks shouldnt have even been mentioned for the job let alone gotten it

If I'm Rick Carlisle...I'd put in the word to everyone else it's green light on Jason Kidd from now on.
Leave the starters in at the end of blowouts, shoot 3's late in the game w/ shot clock expiring, call all your timeouts before it's over, etc.
No coaches handshake at the end. Just chunk up the deuce in his direction and dip out.

JKidd coaches for one year and thinks he's Phil Jackson... 
I can see wanting a raise with Kerr and Fisher getting 10 mil more than him and Proko probably would've given it to him...but to want complete control is crazy. Dude has got balls the size of Godzilla to go to the owner and ask him to fire his boss and put him in charge. Billy King probably wanted to put them paws on JKidd I know I would have.
