Kidd also let the Nets players down..basically bailed on them.

Non-Lowry name I'd watch for Miami if they can open enough space beyond Big 3: Marcin Gortat.
but he didnt....outside of talking down about other coaches, he basically turned his nose up to a team who took a chance on a first year coach coming off dui charges, with a team with the deepest pockets, a new arena, and a more desirable location....How? He knew the nets future was looking bad, make the best move for your coaching career
If winning a championship is the only criteria that constitutes whether or a not a franchise is of dumpster quality then we'd have 13 dumpster franchises. How is Detroit a dumpster franchise? Only 4 teams won more titles than them

Again Detroit and Atlanta are being very proactive in improving their front offices as well as head coaches. That right there will make a huge difference right away. I think these two franchises just miss out on being in the bottom five organizations

Before they changed ownership they were heading in a really negative direction and were definitely in the bottom 5 franchises. From the ownership, to the GM to the coaching to the players.. it was a really bad situation for a while. They had like 20 fans watching them play.. but since they recently got new ownership their whole model changed and now they're trying to emulate the Spurs. They rid themselves of bloated contracts and deadweight and are now things are looking up with new management. You cant put Atlanta anywhere near bottom 5 until they start losing for a long time
im sorry, how can you be a dump if you are making the playoffs every single year. regardless of how mediocre the team is, a bottom 5 team cant say they have made the playoffs within the last few years.
yall need to stop.
phx seem like a perfect fit for bron
that medical team will have him playing till hes 40

This might deserve its own thread. HIBACHI!!!
Orlando Magic send final paycheck to Gilbert Arenas
by Bryan Rose 19h ago
No, Gilbert Arenas didn’t play for the Orlando Magic last season. In fact, he hasn’t played for their organization since the 2010-11 season and only played 49 games at that. But that doesn’t mean the Magic have been free from paying the former NBA All-Star.

As you’ll recall, Arenas was acquired by the Magic in exchange for Rashard Lewis and was eventually axed off the roster thanks to the one-time amnesty provision. That allowed the Magic to remove Arenas from the salary cap, however, the team still had to pay him through the entirety of his contract which concluded at the end of the 2013-14 season.
With the 2014-15 season set to officially begin on Monday, the Orlando Magic have finally paid off their debt to the former Arizona Wildcat talent.
The final portion of Arenas’ $22.35 million dollar salary for the past season (yes, you read that correctly) was sent out to the Instagram star which has to be a welcome feeling for both the Magic franchise and their fans considering the deal financially hamstrung them a bit.
After Arenas’ short stay with the Orlando Magic, he eventually made his way to the Memphis Grizzlies for a 17-game stretch before leaving the league. However, unlike his paycheck, Arenas apparently isn’t done as it’s been rumored that he wants to return to the league.
How much the 31-year-old has left, considering he hasn’t played in the NBA since 2011-12 remains to be seen or if any team would have interest in signing him given his eccentric personality and the potential distractions that he’s likely to bring.
Glen Davis played for the clips though.Im also glad Jameer's contract is finished. Im suprised they let him start for so long.
Orlando's roster is very likeable except for Maxiell & Glen Davis.
They still owe Al Harrington 7.5 mil tho
