Thats all well and good but it doesnt change the fact that theyre a dumpster franchise. They probably have the least amount of fans out of any team

Its interesting to hear guys perspective on franchises and cities.

What are some other dumpster franchises?

Atlanta has been to the playoffs for 7 seasons straight. Not many teams could say aided from the spurs with 17.

They just never really had a roster to get them over the hump. I don't think Deng puts them over the top but in the right system Deng can be solid.

Still not sure why he turned down the last Bulls offer of 3/30 mill :{
I think Chicago is where Deng ends up again.
I think he turned that last contract down thinking he'd land that max. After a life in Cleveland I think he's found Jesus.
I bet he'd go back and take it, and theyd take his 17per game.
Plus I think McDermott gives them 15 per game regardless this year so Rose not recruiting Melo isn't to big of a deal. Yall' calling him stupid seems erratic though. He's a shy guy, Let Noah do that recruiting.

I think the way management traded Deng burned some bridges. The way that Deng tells it, they made one offer, said 'take it or leave it,' he said no, and a few days later they traded him without warning.

What are the suns plan with gerald green? He showed when bledsoe was hurt that he can start and be very productive

Green will be in a contract year so I'm sure he'll show out again. I'm assuming he'll log heavy minutes

A team like Phoenix pretty much has to try and overpay for guys. You're not getting a big time free agent to sign with you, so your best bet is offering a huge amount and hoping their current team cant' match it.

Portland tried doing it with Hibbert when he was restricted... it's what you need to do if you're a smaller market team.

He's still under contract this upcoming season. after that he's a FA. I see him walking for more money elsewhere when that time comes

Basically what New Orleans is doing. You have to strike in the draft and pray these contracts you give out work out if you're a small market.

Don't listen to Antidope aka DC 2.0 aka AtlantaDope when it comes to Atlanta. It's one of his trollish "I'm not a troll" topics.. just like bringing back DBD and sleeved jerseys.

Plus.. after his comments in the Orange Is the New Black thread.. I think we know why he hates Atlanta

I had to.. it's all love :lol

Except with you rck.

I hate you

I really want to just let Bledsoe walk essentially and let green start, although our record indicates were just about a .500 team with just dragic. I think we should sell the farm on k love rather than max out bledsoe......he fills in fryes roll perfectly adds rebounding, loses defense.

Can't trust a guy like Bledsoe with his consistant knee probs, he's bogut status till he proves otherwise.

As for green I don't think he can have a better year shooting the ball, dude was just catching fire (see okc game). I wish he could develop some type of creativity or craftiness to get to basket more often. Seems like he settled for the trey way too often.

I would disagree, Pelicans are trying to microwave a playoff team when they could have had several lottery picks to build around. It's been outlined in this thread several times but the Suns are building way better than the Pelicans

Agree with this. Im a believe if bledsoe was healthy all year they would have made the playoffs but green playing so well probably gave the suns an option to let bledsoe walk and spend that money on a front court player instead.

Trust me when I say I hate what the pelicans are doing. The only comparison I tried to draw was the money they have EG and Tyreke.

So that's what happened huh? Damn. Was that a part of that trade that sent Bynum to Indy too?

Bynum was traded, waived before all of his contract became guaranteed, and then limped to Indy under his free will.

I hate you
And I unto you

no Zodogg
just kidding, I couldn't hate you
seriously, though
you are my fav
and I know I'm one of your favs
like if you're upset
I don't wanna do that thing where people wanna try to fix everything
like "I got all the answers"
maybe I'll just hold you
maybe we'll just hold each other
and then be okay with the silence and like not feel like someone has to say something
just listen to what our bodies tell us to do in that moment
whatever you need because you are my fav, and I'm your fav
I'm ready to give you all of me

On another note did we ever get a crazy **** lebron rant from DSK after the chip? I feel like we didn't

He could've at least posted a video of Goku throwing the Spirit Bomb or something.
I couldn't do it g. I didn't have it in me.

This is gonna sound stupid as hell but a lot of it had to do with last year's Game 6. Spurs choking that away crushed my soul, man. I was really about to load up the choppa to full capacity and go out in a blaze of glory but then all that bull **** took place and it couldn't be the same after that.

I dead *** only watched about 4 minutes of Game 7. On some real ****. There was only one way that series was ending.

This year's Finals thread was extra unbearable anyways though. Didn't 'eem bother keeping up with it...joint was filled with **** boys from all angles.
