Thats what John Paxson said. That he works out with a bunch of guys in LA and since he has great relationships with them, the team would benefit from it if he helped recruiting. But he's not comfortable doing it.

I think Rose just wants to be the main guy on offense. Noah is the guy the team looks up to for leadership but he's not taking shots away from Rose. Bring in Melo, LeBron, etc and Rose suddenly becomes Westbrook basically. If they lose he may get some of the blame but if they win, he doesn't get the credit.
