Yeah. They've also said Love and Rose were friends when they was coming up. Love would be a better fit IMO.

Doesn't surprise me. He said/did the same thing back in 2010 when LeBron, Wade, etc were free agents. Plus I thought I read somewhere that the Bulls were gonna use Noah to recruit and be involved in meetings with players instead of Rose.

Hypothetical that is similar to the Kidd situation

Fresh out of college you sign a contract with a company getting paid 80K,

A few months later you heard a friend is making 100k doing the same job you do in the same market.

The next month of your college roommates dad gets a upper management position with a company that has positions in the field you work in. Your college roommates dad say he will hire you and give you a higher position in this company and youll get paid 110k

Are you going to wait to go to the new company

He definitely strikes me as he the type that doesn't wanna "not be the guy." Once Melo comes its his team. Noah will still be the leader, but Melo is the go to guy. I dont think Rose can deal with that, being the #2. With Love it wont be as bad on his mentality.

This. Alot of people are like this in real life but in his career..you sorta need to go out your comfort zone and recruit man.

Kidd tried to be slick, thought he had some leverage. Now the Brooklyn Nets will not accept the deal and the Bucks don't really seem like they care about Kidd that much either. He's going to go jobless and be a complete joke.
