2014 NBA Draft Thread

Is Saric going to be a 3 or 4? Seems like he can play both but not sure if he'll be strong enough to play the 4 full time

i'm watching gordon's video and wondering why can't d12 work on his footwork a lil more

More I think about it, I would LOVE if the Sixers somehow ended up with Gordon and Parker from this class in round 1...that is, if Embiid and Wiggins go 1-2 as I'm suspecting, just don't know if Gordon lasts to 10, his defensive potential is fantastic and having Nerlens back there too would help mask some of Jabari's apparent deficiencies. I'm confident the coaching staff can work on Gordon's shooting (plus he wasn't even bad from 3, sss I know but still)...Nerlens was getting individual help all year from our head coach and his form has improved from all accounts, just sucks MCW has the shoulder injury and won't be able to get shots up for a bit.

. I would hope that a high lottery pick would distinguish himself from a late 1st rounder
Sully would have been a high pick on talent, but his back was red flagged

Dwight will end up as a hall of famer. Not too shabby
How much does HOF status compensate for ending an athletic career ring-less?

"Sully" fell down the boards though. He was a top-10 prospect at one point while at Ohio State.

I'm well aware of Sully's situation, but highly touted prospects have been red-flagged before and still taken in the lottery.

And thus far, he has proven to be a rotation player but I'm not seeing any star potential. He looks like he'll be a role player while Randle is supposed to be a bit more than that

Probably my two favorite players in the draft so yes I'd be down for that. I just don't think Gordon makes it all the way to 10.

if the sixers could some how pull that off

havent watched much of the sixers this year, how is MCW defensively?

and would he be able to hold up guarding SGs?

i ask because then you can just go for a 3 point specialist from the other guard spot.. and if it's a smaller guy, let him take pgs on the defensive end

My dream draft is Jabari at 3, Gordon at 10 and PJ Hairston at 32. Doubt PJ makes it that far though.

the sixers can pull it off. They have Thad Young to dangle along with their 10th pick to move up.

I ain't throwing in Thad Young with the #10 pick just to move up a few spots.

**** that

I think I agree with you, but you don't think the difference between Harris/Nurkic/Saric and Randle/Gordon is worth it?

It might be worth doing if you can get a young core such as

MCW-Parker-Randle-Noel plus with cap space to sign a big name guy. Imagine they sign Lance.

MCW-Lance-Parker-Gordon-Noel :x :smokin

All that youth and potential.

i wouldn't want lance anywhere near that squad ... and gordon isn't dropping that far down ...
