at anyone listening to Three6mafia2007 about anything basketball related
according to defensive real plus minus there are 66 small forwards that are better than him at defenceGo ahead, one of u post the stats saying nick young has been a below average defender this season. I'll be here waiting
No seriously, someone post them. I remember reading somewhere that he actually has been an above average defender this season. I could be wrong tho, no shame in that
2 years 45 million?Ok, it's no biggie guys, no one get clipped for it or anything.
Some guys like Nick, some don't. Totally understandable. We have some that don't like Kobe, nothin wild about bein a diff of opinion on Nick.
No need to wage war over it. We all have our views.
Let's fuss over Boozer next. Anyone want him back here next year? Cuz ya know, it's possible.
Exceptional post noblekane. Masterful

Essential puts a lot of thought and effort into his posts.
It's one thing to disagree but it's another thing to disrespectfully call his effort wasted strokes.
Cmon guys.
according to defensive real plus minus there are 66 small forwards that are better than him at defence
ranked 63rd in defensive rebound rate (among a total of 67 sfs)
yeah, i tried to find better stats than defensive rebounds but i dont know the best sites to get defensive stats in comparison to the rest of the league. im sure there are people in here that could help out thoughWell we all know he doesn't get boards lol. There's other stats, but u came in with facts. Respectaccording to defensive real plus minus there are 66 small forwards that are better than him at defence
ranked 63rd in defensive rebound rate (among a total of 67 sfs)
And for all the talk about him as a defender, what people don't realize is in isolation situations on the ball, Nick Young's in the top 10 percent in the league as a defender.
not trying to sound like ska here but since when did not being able to dribble past a defender excuse someone from passing the basketball
there are so many guys in the league that hardly ever dribble for anything but can get 3-4 assists a game just from standing around and swinging the ball
This is also based off of 6 FGA against him with 40% of the possessions based on 3s and 20% on long 2s....but guys are not really going at him because he's not the worst defender on the teamNeil Olshey on Nick Young:

That's where he's an above average defender. Does it still rang true that he's Top 10%, probably not, but he's still good in isolation situations, and defending ON BALL.
