2013 College Football Thread (Realer than Real Deal Holyfield -->S/O Craftsy)

They have no choice, they're probably the worst team in the SEC. Talent & record shows.

Nah Arkansas will probably be next years SECs big recruiting team, look at Ole miss and then Tennessee.

Even if they get a great class in 2015, they won't be competiting for anything serious until 17-18. Meanwhile Tennessee & Ole Miss could look like they will be legit by the 2015 season.

Is Hugh Freeze good enough to coach Ole Miss up?

Random, but reading some of these message board posts (most recently one on Cordell Broadus and Snoop Lion) and hearing some of these older posters complain about the hip-hop presence in college football and how they may not want the hip-hop influence because of the negative drama and attention it brings makes me
laugh.gif

What do they think the kids they're recruiting in the hood listen to? Then they're whining when Dr. Dre donates to USC?

same exact thing from the old clowns on the UCLA boards about recruiting broadus. they don't want him because of stuff snoop did 15-20 years ago

Other light news: it was decided by USC that Adoree' won't be allowed to wear Reggie Bush's #5 jersey. Instead they convinced him to carry on the new #2 tradition.

Is USC going to take Bama's offer to play at Jerry's World?
Just a rumor right now. Apparently Bama backed out of a home and home with Michigan State and replaced them with Penn State for 2016 who then backed out. Saban didn't deny the USC rumor and said "we're always looking but not anything I can share with you right now."

So who knows. People have wanted it for a while. I would have prefered it when we were better, but here's hoping it works out. Max Browne (or Ricky Town) will be ready by then.

An off the field circumstance that could even affect Wittek's immediate eligibility a factor in Texas not working out

I'd be down for that :pimp:

but,

"According to the contract, no Pac-12 school may enter into an agreement to play a neutral-site football game unless the deal provides the Pac-12 with exclusive broadcast rights and digital rights in all media and the game's copyright. An exception can be made when the neutral-site game is the away game of a home-and-home series."
