Shooting 39% from 3 as a teenager and his finishing ability is what got people hyped. Maybe the flashy handle did something for the casual fan but Kyrie has shown he can be an elite shooter and finisher, I just think he's in a terrible situation which won't get better and he hasn't improved his game much at all.

People might need to accept that he may never be a winner. I was fully prepared to never see the Warriors win during Steph Currys tenure there, thought they were going to keep the two tiny guard thing forever and nothing would come of it.

Kevin Durant on the Rockets: "They wasn't playing one-on-one, it was one-on-three. Those dudes can't check me one-on-one. They know that."
KD playing with an edge and talking is good for the league, as if a target wasn't already on his back. Makes the playoffs that much more interesting.

I think Cody Zeller is going to be a pretty good player in a few years. He's shown signs of improvement.

31 and 14 for all star MVP and 3pt champion don't hurt his stock either, he may not be the god as projected but he's still far from avg.

He's more of a scoring guard and Cleveland needs someone to get those below avg players involved which isn't his strength, but to call him avg is a rush to judgement in the opposite direction.

Kyrie on NT?

He felt the slander. :lol
It's more than just NT who has been coming at him. The whole national media has been commenting on his situation in Cleveland, it go to the point where he had to take to twitter about it. Compared to being a media darling last year, he is really feeling the heat this season

It will be better for him in the long run, if he continues to ball and get better he'll see how much the media really doesn't matter in the long run.

Every great player has gone through that backlash after they show the type of potential Kyrie has and then they hit their prime.

He's only 21, he has 2 or 3 more years before we know what he's going to be.

Brandon Jennings bricked a pull-up three in transition with a Celtic down on the other end in a tied game with a minute left. :lol

Agreed, he needed to go through this so he learns not to let hype go to his head.

As someone who watched Gilbert Arenas for years, I'm not a huge fan of PGs who play like Kyrie does but there's no doubt he's extremely talented. He just has to find a way to bring competitive fire and leadership on a consistent basis

Like OKB alluded too, he really needs to work on his body and actually play defense,

Prime Gil is one of my favorite players but Kyrie is already a better shooter and passer than Gil was the same age and he started really turning up when he was 24-25.

He's a pretty good athlete naturally but if he actually worked in the gym and got his body right it would take his game over the top.

According to Beat reports who follow the team Kyrie is actually putting in work.
