Kevin Durant on the Rockets: "They wasn't playing one-on-one, it was one-on-three. Those dudes can't check me one-on-one. They know that."
He can talk all he wants, but he scored below his average and his team lost.

He's reminds me of Brandon Jennings. Analysts were quick to praise Jennings and call him the second coming of Allen Iverson after a breakout rookie season and guiding the Bucks to the playoffs, but gradually exposed himself as an inefficient high volume shooter who''s allergic to passing. I think we are seeing the same thing unfold with Kyrie. I don't think he's worth the max based on basketball reasons alone and for the simple fact that he can't stay healthy. But Cleveland is desperate for a star, so it's likely they will overpay.
For what its worth, Jennings hasn't been that bad in Detroit. Has been tame for the most part.
This is where things get misconstrued... 99.9% of these "comments" are really just answers to dumb questions asked by the mediaIt was a dumb comment..
...because he made an arrogant comment to the media?I hate this dude man. Almost on the verge of wishing him injuryKevin Durant on the Rockets: "They wasn't playing one-on-one, it was one-on-three. Those dudes can't check me one-on-one. They know that."
Dude's a Bron rider. It's only natural for them to oppose whoever their leader's biggest rival is.

Agree. They lost and he was frustrated. Plus, what he said isn't wrong.
And a complete turnstyle on defense.. Jennings has been awfulshooting sub 40% from the floor and from deep is that bad

The only thing he's improved this year are his assist #s. And that's mostly due to playing with the Drummond/Monroe frontcourt, not some improved sense of court vision or bball IQ
Oh trust, I was gonna build on that.Dude's a Bron rider. It's only natural for them to oppose whoever their leader's biggest rival is.

Which is KD at the moment.
Even if the stats say otherwise, the UD comment makes a lot of sense. The Pacers have gone through all kinds of turmoil following a strong start to the season that had them atop the Eastern Conference standings until just recently.
Paul George has struggled both on and off the court, Roy Hibbert has called out his teammates’ selfishness, and perhaps most importantly, the losses are piling up, with Indiana having won just seven times in its last 17 contests.
One might wonder if it can all be traced back to the deadline deal that saw the Pacers trade Danny Granger.
Chemistry is extremely fragile on any championship contender, and it goes beyond simple Xs and Os. Despite not really doing much since getting healthy, Granger was the team’s elder statesman, having been there for more than eight seasons and acting as a locker room leader for the team’s younger core players.
A Miami Heat official pointed to Indiana’s struggles as the reason they chose to keep their longest tenured player as the trade deadline passed.
From Ethan Skolnick of Bleacher Report:
Heat players have referred to the risks you run when reshuffling a contender so late in the season.
As one Heat official recently put it, “Now you see why we didn’t trade U.D.” …
How would that have gone over?
“That’s a tough question,” Mario Chalmers said, measuring his words. “U.D., besides Dwyane and Bron and CB, he is the heart and soul of this team. He is one of the captains, one of the leaders on this team. He sets a good example for everybody else. I don’t know. It wouldn’t have been a good thing.”
Josh smith would be a great fit for any team if he never took another jump shot
