Even Drake on NT tryna save somebody who don't need saving, makes sense.

When the playoffs start my heat hater uniform will be on and I'll be ready.
He was never as efficient as KD is though. Even in that 02-03 season he put up those numbers, he took 24 shots/game to do so. KD is avg 32/7.6/5.6 on 51% shooting 40% from 3 and 87% from the line on 21 shots. KD is a legit 7 feet not NT 7'1 like T-Mac was. KD put up 50/40/90 last season. We've never seen anything like KD before as far as an entire package, a volume scorer at 7 feet, with handles, athletic, and as efficient as he is and he's not even in his prime yet.
He's like Dirk x Kobe DNA was combined in a lab and spit out this freak of nature.
Kobe was putting up similar numbers that same season so his uniqueness at least to me takes a bit of a hit.
Really just depends on what you value, Duncan is by far the superior rebounder and defender but he's not in Dirk's league offensively.
If my team had a defensive anchor at the 5, I'm taking prime Dirk everytime. If I had Samuel Dalembert at the 5 I'm taking prime Duncan.
I'm 26 and just thinking, I've gotten to witness 4 of the most uniquely athletically, skillful and talented players to ever play in their prime or just now entering it.
1. Shaq
2. Dirk
3. Bron
4. KD
Just the combinations of their talents (domination w/ size, 7'0ter with shooting touch unmatched, combo of size, speed, and power, 7'0ter with unlimited skills on the offensive end, handles at that size and only continuing to improve)
Great time to be a basketball fan.
If Bron doesn't opt out, Dirk should be the top FA for any team that's one player away, but Cuban isn't letting him leave Dallas. I'd love to replace Pau with him over the next two seasons.

Dirk is that dude. I think they may make it to the second round depening on Who they play. Watch out OKC
KG was every bit as good as Duncan offensively, better as a playmaker, maybe better defensively. Don't let the rings fool you. Duncan has consistently had a better team and organization around him, but KG in Minny was a gaddamn monster.

No doubt. If he had anything remotely close to Gregg Popovich & RC Buford in Minny then the perception would be a lot different.KG was every bit as good as Duncan offensively, better as a playmaker, maybe better defensively. Ehhh. When they were in their primes, Duncan outscored him every time they met up in the playoffs, that includes in '06 when Dallas had a top 10 D.
Point is, you can run your offense through both guys, and Duncan is so much better on the end of the floor that I'd go with him every time.
I don't think so, Mavs literally do nothing better than the Spurs.
Spurs are far better defensively and will pound them on the boards.
Especially when the game slows down, I trust the Spurs execution more. They have better guard/wing play (sorry Monta) and both teams are on the same level offensively.
I mean if Dirk goes God level of course Mavs have a chance but that's the only way, Spurs are better especially over 7 games.
Cuban wasting dirk the last 2 years
