The Bron in 2011 argument is so stupid both ways.

There's no arguing that he absolutely disappeared in the finals and played badly. Anyboy who argues against that is an idiot. On the other hand, he put together one of the best playoff runs in history the year after and without a doubt carried his team to the title. Lebron has had some of the best playoff runs in history for a guy who's "not clutch"

Peep him in 09

35/9/7 on 51% shooting, filthy.

Lebron was terrible in the 2011 finals, it made no sense coming off the Celtics and Bulls series.

He absolutely carried them to the finals, then went ghost. Not much more to it than that :lol

So many of those mid range Dirk shots are contested fade away's off one foot too. :lol

Son is an anomaly.

To clarify on the Granger v PG comment, I guess what I meant was that I would take a prime Granger over a prime George so far. Granger improved for how many straight years? Whereas it seems as if PG doesn't have much more to go to hit his ceiling. Also, Danny had the killer mentality that I preferred.

They are both great though.

they were, otherwise you wouldn't have even brought it up.

You guys want to sit here and bring up lebron, When what was talked about was Clearly Dirk Vs KD, and then get hurt when I bring up the lakers. let that hurt go, and be quiet.

Not really nobody is hurt bro. Just hypocrisy at it's finest not even 2 pages apart. Continue with your Clark Kenting...

PG is 23, he's 4 years away from his prime.

Granger at 23 wasn't even close to PG currently.

Curious George has also gotten better every year and is 3 times the defender Granger ever was.

Danny Granger's peak seasons consisted of him missing 20+ games on lottery Pacer squads.

Paul's defensive abilities alone make him more valuable than Granger ever was.

It's also worth noting that in 9 going on 10 years...Granger only managed to play close to 3 full seasons.

both those points

I'm 26 and just thinking, I've gotten to witness 4 of the most uniquely athletically, skillful and talented players to ever play in their prime or just now entering it.

1. Shaq
2. Dirk
3. Bron
4. KD

Just the combinations of their talents (domination w/ size, 7'0ter with shooting touch unmatched, combo of size, speed, and power, 7'0ter with unlimited skills on the offensive end, handles at that size and only continuing to improve)

Great time to be a basketball fan.

If Bron doesn't opt out, Dirk should be the top FA for any team that's one player away, but Cuban isn't letting him leave Dallas. I'd love to replace Pau with him over the next two seasons.

Dirk ain't leaving Dallas.

Unfortunately I don't think anybody is coming to Dallas either. :lol

They missed on everybody.

I would put prime T-Mac in that same category

So true, he gets forgotten because of the injuries.

His 4 Orlando years he averaged 28/7/5, real.

Best season he had 32.1/6.5/5.5 and shot 38% from 3 on high volume at 23 years old, KD before KD.

My parents copped me his Authentic and I wore that **** so proudly at every opportunity. :lol

Wish his back held up, my mans health started going downhill at 26. :x

He was never as efficient as KD is though. Even in that 02-03 season he put up those numbers, he took 24 shots/game to do so. KD is avg 32/7.6/5.6 on 51% shooting 40% from 3 and 87% from the line on 21 shots. KD is a legit 7 feet not NT 7'1 like T-Mac was. KD put up 50/40/90 last season. We've never seen anything like KD before as far as an entire package, a volume scorer at 7 feet, with handles, athletic, and as efficient as he is and he's not even in his prime yet.

He's like Dirk x Kobe DNA was combined in a lab and spit out this freak of nature.

Kobe was putting up similar numbers that same season so his uniqueness at least to me takes a bit of a hit.
