George, Wall, Ross, Lillard In the Dunk Contest, confirmed.

It's only 4 people, so no Mclemore I guess. That lineup is :hat :hat : .

Meh. The contest will probably still be lame, but at least it'll have all guys most people have heard of.

Kyrie is definitely gone. Mike Brown is definitely gone. Dan Gilbert is gonna clean house.

Bynum isn't gonna hold up during the second half of the season. Pacers signing was useless.

KD has definitely been 1.b to LeBreezy's 1.a for being the best player in the world.

Looks like Rondo has been getting his timing back. Two wins in a row, let's go Celtics! [emoji]127808[/emoji]

Dunk contest is over. Nobody cares anymore. It's too bad the superstars of the league feel it's not necessary to compete. It sucks.

Mike Brown has no backbone as a coach

Looks like Barnes and Mclemore will be in the dunk contest after all? I still don't know if this is official or not, but Stein ran with it and posted this on ESPN

The six-man field for the dunk contest at All-Star Weekend will feature three big names from Sunday's actual All-Star Game, according to sources close to the process.

Sources told ESPN.com that Indiana's Paul GeorgeWashington's John Walland Portland's Damian Lillard  are confirmed entrants in the dunk field that will be officially announced later Thursday on TNT.

ESPN.com reported Wednesday night that George, Wall and Lillard were poised to join defending champion Terrence Ross  of the Toronto Raptors  in the dunk competition.

Sources confirmed Thursday that Golden State's Harrison Barnes  and Sacramento Kings  rookie Ben McLemore  are the other two participants in the contest, which has met with lukewarm reviews for the past several years, partly due to the lack of star power on display.

I'm gonna hold it against Lebron forever for reneging on his promise to participate

Cavs about to clean house. I just hope Mike Brown makes it through the season and not get the early pink slip during the season (again) :{

why do you hope this? he **** sucks

Well I think he got got a raw deal in LA, they we're foolish to think replacing him with D'Antoni was the right move. Should've been Phil or bust.

And in Cleveland, I don't see how firing him right now changes anything. That team simply isn't good. Even in the East.
we wouldnt have more than 10 wins this year with mike brown as our coach
You wanna keep a guy in town that his players don't respect, that has 0 backbone or credibility, that has no clue whatsoever how to win in the NBA? By all means go for it, Cavs need another No. 1 pick.

I just imagine how much earlier Lebron would have matured had Cleveland not kissed his *** and fired Paul Silas during his rookie season. I remember there was a report that he reprimanded Lebron to make him accountable, management didn't like it and Silas got booted. Enter Mike Brown, who, let Lebron do whatever he wanted (including dancing on the sideline during intros and timeouts like a fool). Silas wasn't having it. As a basketball fan, I would have liked to see that play out.

I liked Silas as a coach. Never knew about that story. Interesting.

NBA needs to release all their games on a digital network, man. I'd love to run back some tape of the Cleveland LeBron's right now.

Toot your own horn some more, Lebron.. :rolleyes

What's funny is that most stats say he's been slacking off on defense. MIA's defense is worse, his steals/blocks are down, etc. LBJ is a beast but to talk DPOY is a little ridiculous when guys like Hibbert are consistently anchoring top defenses in the league.

whats the joke?
I clearly saw WHO he plays for. It's just that the Bucks are the worst team in the league and nobody gives a damn about their roster. You could say the name 1000 times, I'll still ask who he plays for

I liked him too. He did a hell of a job when he was with the Hornets. I love how they played with Baron Davis at the time. He had a reputation of a no nonsense coach. Lebron was the HS kid being called the next face of the league and nobody wanted him unhappy and accountable (like an adult should), so Silas got swept under the rug. It was mentioned but glossed over the further you got away from it. I never forgot that. That season they just never seemed to get along, but Silas was a good coach and proved so. At the time, Lebron was just the spoiled Chosen One and they didn't want to make him unhappy and he'd leave. Turns out, he gets carte blanche and STILL leaves. How ironic.
