I don't believe in Portland, but the only reason why is if they play a team that can match their bigs, which not that many teams can do nowadays, the boost they will need from their role players will kick in, and I have no idea if they can show up. What's good for them is that their role players are all prime, athletic players, but a disciplined team I think would give them trouble.

I'm expecting teams along the lines of San Antonio, Memphis, Houston, Los Angeles and possibly Dallas to be able to challenge Portland. OKC's gonna want #1 seed to avoid them because I think they have the formula to be able to beat OKC and GS. Teams that play through guards probably won't be able to beat them.

does portland have a bench? i think they will burn out towards the end of the season with the heavy minutes their starters log.

mo ghotti can't do it all
No they do not. CJs progression will be interesting to see during this season, cause he could become that second bench guy and you really only need two "IT GUYS" on your bench, who can do something at a high level, and fill the rest out with whomever in a lot of cases.
I think Cj Mcollum will rise to the occasion when the time comes. I think his progress was delayed with his broken foot. Else he could have possibly be one of the top candidates for rookie of the year.

The West is all about matchups. As much as Portland can get to the Finals, they can get eliminated in the 1st round as well.

was that the play where lebron was acting like he got hit in the face with a boulder?

Lebron is definitely exiting his prime....

to enter a new realm of primeness.
:lol  i jus meant i think we've seen his best, he's plateaued

next season, season after that we'll see the drop off, which imo will be dramatic

You might be right brotha.

Not saying he's compltely fell off, but Lebron of 3-4 years ago wouldn't let that block happen...he's 11 years in. I think its arguable to say he's plateaued.

Plateaued....past his prime....

Jesus H. Christ, yall have been on a roll for the past couple of days :lol

*Waits for the "Anthony Davis is nothing more than a slightly more talented Lee Nailon" post.

Bron averaging 26/6/7 while coasting and people are saying he's falling off :lol :{

That article someone wrote last year about people being spoiled by his dominance was spot on
