If Lakers really want Deron they'd have to renounce the rights to Kendall or some other dude and their salary expectations. Which gives them about $27M to play with and keep Nash, Kobe and Sacre and maybe a few others. It would give Lakers ability to take his contract and bring Nets under tax. (all of this is quick reading and math, so I not sure what's really what). Lakers wouldn't have to give any players.

Doubt it happens, but we're talking NBA management here.

Unless there's something I'm missing, the Nets are in a pretty terrible situation. They're going to lose KG and Pierce this offseason, are paying two of the worst contracts in basketball (JJ and Deron) and they're best player (arguably) has chronic injury problems. Yikes.

The swag Pippen displayed during that whole sequence :hat

What sucks is, most all of that is a technical now days :(

That would have been a flagrant in today's game

on Pippen.
nah he wouldve been tossed in todays soft league & prbly fined for going "at" a "fan"

Ewing and Spike Lee gettin owned :hat

:hat

Imagine if the Pelicans somehow get two top 5 picks :x

That team will be built to DESTROY the West

Davis, Parker & Embiid/Gordon/Randle

On a million.

I don't even know if you'll see this since you blocked me. :{

:p

Pip would've been ejected if Joe Crawford was officiating that game. He also would have ejected Spike for standing up and talking back to Pip. Whoever that was that gave Pip the "five" after the dunk would've been ejected for excessive celebrating.

Please don't wish that on my division.

Aren't the Pelicans still owned by the NBA?

Don't be surprised if they land those two Top 5s.. NBA doing their best to sell the team, best way to do it is to get it some talent.. just like they magically got the #1 overall as soon as CP3 left.

You ain't missing nothing fam, we all know.

They don't have many draft picks either, this is what happens when you become obsessed with winning "now" instead of actually building a team.

Just throwing money out there doesn't give you a good team.
