It can't be an inherent part of hip hop and not detract from the rapper. There's a difference in the way Biz Markie is respected versus Big Daddy Kane.
and it doesn't detract from Kanye, because he's like Dre or Pete Rock. Producers get that leeway.
You can be Queen Latifah or Salt N Peppa , but you're an entertainer and shouldn't be mentioned with J Cole or Kendrick. Just like a baseball player who uses PED's.

Isn't that what I said? Drake is a popstar, his use of writers isn't gonna taint his legacy as an artist/pop icon.
It does detract from Drake as a rapper, which is what I said. His claim to hiphop's throne is gone. He shouldn't be on anyone's list of top rappers given his use of writers.

Legit every feature on here is a waste. Not a single one of them added any value to the songs, they're just there. I cant say I legit hate any of them but do I like them? Nope.
No features at all was never gonna happen though, but 5 songs only? I will take that any day and three of them are at the back end of the track so I can always hit skip if need be.
