Anyone who believes Drake has entire albums written for him is an idiot. He's proven his worth his worth as an MC going back to his Room For Improvement days. If he gets in the studio and writes songs with other artists I have no issues with that. Plenty of big name artists do that. Go look on the writing credits on any rapper and you will see multiple writers.
Kendrick and Cole have multiple writers so can anyone explain how that's any different then what Drake is doing?
And if Gudda Gudda and Jae Millz had reference tracks of how they composed the entire project from the lyrics to the melodies...I bet some "internet lame" would still believe it was all made up.
Yeah they wanna ruin their payday huh. What would saying yea I wrote this and that do for them dudes? Send em back to SoundCloud working at starbucks.I don't dismiss that he's written songs with ppl. The writers being accused have themselves denied they write and give songs to him.
I'm not the one ignoring the fact about Q miller denied he's written full tracks for Drake. That's on you fam not me.
Anyone who just dismisses the idea of drake having albums written for him is an idiot. And when they say he writes for other people is he sitting next to them penning tracks or is his team helping in a creative effort? U got evidence in your face yet want to dismiss it as if it can't happen. It's possible b, just leave it at that. To just dismiss it it just showing that it hurts u. Nothing wrong with enjoying the music, but I just don't ever wanna hear him or anyone on this site mention him when we talk about best RAPPERS. When we speak or artist or entertainers that's when he has an argument.
That's the thing we don't know own anything. All we know is there a reference tracks. Which is basically the outline to a paper. U don't hear people walking round the club spitting the 9th bar of the 2nd verse on running thru the 6, u hear em screaming the hook in the same cadence that another man wrote. If u write the hook, melody, cadence, bridge that song is 70% yours. Now u just fill in the verses with 2 16 bar verses. We can play your game, it's a 70 30 thing then. I'm pretty sure Rihanna and b Spears play the add and subtract thing too.The evidence is fragile as hell though. Just cause a reference track gets out I'm supposed to believe that they wrote that song and gave it to Drake?
Nothing has ever been proven about full tracks being given to him. But y'all can cook and believe dude is a male version of Rihanna when we know that's not the case.
When did I mention Quentin Miller?
And I see you're still stuck on the writing aspect when we're seeing instancs where entire songs are being architected for Drake. Writing is only one aspect of the "help" he's receiving.
I'm not the one in here saying that this is "wrong". I have no problem with how art is made when there's context understood about how it was made.
I'm only in the conversation right now because It amazing when ppl like you start using ridiculous logic when pushing back on these claims. It's like you feel like your favorite artist is being "attacked" so you start saying **** like "oh well cole and kendrick have writers too".
If you didn't think anything was wrong with his creative process...you wouldn't be trying to drag in other artists with these made up claims to try to justify what Drake does.
I'd respect your (and others) positions alot more if you just said "we don't care, we just like Drake's music"...instead of the **** ya'll are in here saying.

Reference tracks don't mean anything since artists send out tracks all the time to writers and producers to make their own version. Q Miller himself said he never gave Drake full songs so I dont even know why anyone would believe he wrote for him. Only thing I remember is Hold On being written by Majid and that's it.
The evidence is fragile as hell though. Just cause a reference track gets out I'm supposed to believe that they wrote that song and gave it to Drake?

at cats getting caught up with drake saying he's the best. ***** please most rappers have said they are the best at some point. It's hip hop/rap b a braggadocio culture
Do you think dudes paid very handsomely by Drake are going to willingly admit that they've given him full songs? Or forget even getting paid, sometimes being associated with him is enough. Right or wrong, I can understand why a writer wouldn't mess that up. No matter how we feel about Drake we can all agree he is the most polarizing guy in rap music right now.
But see for Drake, how do you go out here having full arenas screaming "running thru the 6 with my woes" and singing Hotline Bling, and you didn't even come up with any of that ****? That's very astonishing to me for a guy who acts the way he does, and I just cant understand why people let this BS slide when it comes to him. Jay-Z got killed for using a half a verse worth of Big's bars throughout his career, but guys are looking the other way for a N_ who's had an entire team full of writers and leeched off of up and coming artists his entire career.
I'm glad Kodak Black told this man to back up when he realized Drake was coming for him next. Views would've sounded like a prequel to Project Baby 2.
I blame the generation, everyone is so emotional and in touch with their feminine side (a little too much). Also they're pretending to be a certain way instead of being true to themselves. You have guys listening to Beyonce and Rihanna and some are actually imitating them. Seems like they're more teenage girls than boys and men sometimes.Do you think dudes paid very handsomely by Drake are going to willingly admit that they've given him full songs?
