More credit to him tbh. He has that reputation of missing a lot of chances but he still scores goal after goal after goal.

It was all mental. Dude has been in Zlatan's shadow since he got there and hasn't settled into the main role until he left. He had really good scoring seasons, but mostly from the wing/inside forward position with Zlatan central. He's been chasing goals at the expense of quantity over quality and it showed in his finishing (sometimes it still does)

Now he's the #1 option at #9 and he's got nothing else on his back to force him to rush for goals/take stupid shots. He's got nothing to prove anymore, so he's getting more quality. Not to mention he's got the best 2 young wingers in the world providing him with opportunities.


Plus Angers is trash. He better not miss those shots.

Indeed. I would have Lanzini and Firminho alternate for thee number 10/winger role for prem/league matches.


In other news. Mane should be subbed out and Firminho should take the Winger role and Sturridge should be brought on. Mane has made a speedy recovery, but we shouldn't overwork him especially being that he's going off to play for country.
