I didn’t like their signings either no pace & they never got a striker.

These guys were laying blame on Koeman for the signings but it’s really down to Steve Walsh. This post talks about how he convinced Koeman the signings he made were right for the team then Koeman started towing the company line.

Everton’s defending is woefully bad too. Poor positioning & their defenders do a horrid job of reading plays. The way they left Smokey alone in the box when he first came on for just an insane amount of time was astonishing.
