because to me thats 100% relevant. He's viewed by many as a disappointment and that's emblematic of Man U as a whole for some time now.

Europa league was brought up in a totally different discussion where you mans called it friendlies. You also made a club comparison vs it's leading star player for a period. Then you tried to expand the conversation (after getting bested) to international play. And based off what you're saying, your argument is still null because Carmelo put his best performances in the Olympics whereas you're saying that Rooney's performances weren't that great for Country. This was a really good WC, best one in a minute. I'm happy for France, they have a bright future ahead of them. Really happy for Giroud and Kante, considering the lower lragues they came from. Also N'zonzi, mans went from Wasteman FC (Stoke) to being a World Cup winner. And of course, Mbappe. Kid is a joy to watch, feels like he just broke into the Monaco squad the other day. His potential is wild high, I'm glad he was able to show up throughout this tournament. I've always been real critical of Deschamps but hats off to him, he got the job done. I wish him the best of luck in the upcoming tournaments.

Sir Alex didn't mention Rooney among the best he's ever coached either and I think his opinion on this matter is more valid that yours.

Mourinho hasn't had anything glowingly positive to say about Rooney either other than that he was always lacking in form.

I don't get the Rooney love but to each their own.

That deflated Croatia a bit, then Pogba and Mbappe came out in the second half and put on the other two goals. If you don't understand something just say it rather than play along as if you do.
