Hope they give Vieira a shot. But if it isn't him then need Rodgers to continue Wenger’s legacy of lulz

I don't want a former gunner for the sake of hiring a former gunner either.

Someone who actually has a passion for managing and a few credentials and potential.

Zidane would have been cool if Real Madrid canned him earlier this year but he's looking like he gonna 3peat and go down as a goat manager

An absolute club legend, a very stubborn man but genuinely loves the club to his very core. He should have left seasons ago but he has surely left his mark and shaped Arsenal for the better in his career. Will miss his "look uhhhh" in press conferences next season.

This is encouraging for the future of the club as it seems gazidis wasnt completely full of **** and wants to make a change to how the club has been running and we've already seen that with the appointments of sven and raul. But the managerial position was the biggest one and its finally happening; out of the candidates mentioned before, id like to see us go with Jardim because of his attacking style and how the development of young players occur under him (and bring lemar with him haha)

The other Arsenal fans on here should honestly put your fandom under review. You can't even discuss the Arsenal manager opening without finding a way to gloat about Real Madrid

Wenger quits and only ppl sad about it are non-arsenal fans. Mans ruined his legacy

I can't state facts now? My statement was pretty objective.

I'm not a Real Madrid supporter.

I ain't out here banging 2 colors like mans that support Juve and Pool, or Barca and Chelsea, or United and Roma.

Arsenal over everything.

Damn wenger just gave Robbie another millions dollars with this decision. Mans is gonna interview a ******* light pole in north London next for their opinion

All jokes aside, Rodgers wouldn’t be a horrible appointment. Would play the football the fans have come to expect.

“After careful consideration and following discussions with the club, I feel it is the right time for me to step down at the end of the season.

I am grateful for having had the privilege to serve the club for so many memorable years.

I managed the club with full commitment and integrity.

I want to thank the staff, the players, the Directors and the fans who make this club so special.

I urge our fans to stand behind the team to finish on a high.

To all the Arsenal lovers take care of the values of the club.

My love and support for ever.”

Thank you, Arsene. A top man and true legend .

Objectively speaking at least they have a reason to mention another club. For a “non-Madrid” supporter you do bring them up a lot. Maybe it’s your cr7 fandom?

Also even with that 3 peat I find it hard to say zidane is the goat. Honestly feel Madrid gets by on talent/will power than his actual tactics (mind you this is my favorite player). SAF the goat tho

Damn I'll miss Wenger

Regardless of the 2nd half of his tenure, the man is still an absolute legend of the game and a PL great. The United - Arsenal rivalry of the last decade created some of the most memorable and intense footy moments

Gonna be weird as hell seeing the Prem without Fergie or Wenger managing

Robbie gotta be sick...

Exactly

But at least Rodgers has won trophies (one horse league, I know) and has a philosophy that matches their club. We legit hired Moyes because he’s Scottish and was never relegated :smh:

Obviously happy if both leave him but how is their track record with European players/footie players?
