he’s sound technically. At this point I think he’s been mentally broken by the memes and pressure to live up to Diego. Their playstyles are different. Diego more so can create his own goals with his hold up play than Morata who thrives on being the last man and having a support striker lead him to the promise land. Once Morata get’s his footing and chooses to create opportunities not for himself but for others I think he will do well.

technically sound but can't shoot? even earlier when he was on form the majority of his goals were headers. Looking back during his two years Juve, he only returned 15 goals.
