Oh he will definitely get claimed, but whoever claims him will try to flip him to a contender that offers most, since he clearly doesn't want to play on an up and coming team as the veteran guy anymore.

Even if Bibby is a "starter", he shouldn't be playing more than a 15-20 minute role with Douglas handling the rest of the minutes.

Barea was on ESPN Dallas with Tyson yesterday and Tyson was lobbying for him to come join him. If he comes which I think he will dude should get the starting job because of how good he will be in the pick and roll with Melo ,Stat, and Tyson. He's also a good defender for his size

JJ Barea is a defender now? Let alone starting caliber NBA point guard? Stop overvaluing a guy who played great in his ROLE.

Douglas, Bibby, and Barea. The worst defender on that list is the best PG option, and the best defender is the most trigger-happy. Knicks need to bring in a PG who can run an offense not scoring PG's.
