The WWE is using this as a victory over Richard Blumenthal as well.

"Attorney General Richard Blumenthal should have immediately stepped in to enforce the law.  As a result of the Attorney General's inaction, I brought suit to enfroce these basic, fundamental constitutional rights.  Within hours of filing the lawsuit, Blumenthal recused himself, and Bysiewicz reversed her position." wrote Vince McMahon.

Vince has completely lost it.  You might run wrestling, but you'll never run this country.
It was completely out of line for the State to ban any voter from wearing WWE clothing to the polls. I'm not supporting the McMahon's involvement in politics but he did have a point. You can't tell people what and what not to wear at the polls. There's no arguing that.
Um, actually you can.  Per Connecticut state law:
"State election law prevents political advertising within 75 feet of the polls. Any clothing, paraphernalia or merchandise that actually bears the name, likeness or campaign logo of any candidate will still be restricted."

While WWE and Linda McMahon are two different entities, they have become dangerously close to directly aligning with one another, specifically around the Stand Up for WWE campaign which is why Linda's people came out denying any involvement.  However, since the judge ruled that Linda and WWE are separate, WWE gear will be allowed at polling stations.

Dude, if that was the case the Attorney General wouldn't have reversed his position. Technically then all you could do is to not allow POLITICAL paraphernalia to the polls. But that is the exception of telling people what people can or cannot wear.
Free WWE Merchandise at CT Polls
STAMFORD, Conn., Oct 28, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) --To celebrate the victory of restoring voters' right to wear WWE(R) clothing at the polls, World Wrestling Entertainment(R) will be giving away WWE merchandise near select Connecticut poll locations on Election Day, this Tuesday, November 2nd.

"I can't think of a better way for WWE fans to celebrate their constitutional rights and freedom of expression while voting than to proudly wear the WWE merchandise that Connecticut Secretary of State Susan Bysiewicz attempted to prohibit from the polls," said Vince McMahon, Chairman and CEO, World Wrestling Entertainment.

Out of respect for voters from all political parties, WWE will not be handing out merchandise within 75 feet of polling locations, and merchandise will be available on a first come, first served basis.

This is so typical Vince McMahon.  Linda's lost the race, so now it's just a publicity stunt to draw attention to WWE.  Well, I hope the $50 million they blew on Linda was worth it.  To me, this makes both WWE and Linda look pathetic as opposed to drawing good press.  And I think any chance of Linda ever getting into office is the future is completely down the drain as Vince has turned this into a complete circus.
