Wrestling Thread Jan 14-20 | 1/17 TNA Impact Wrestling - Bully Ray and Brooke Hogan WEDDING!!!

Deek - thanks for responding to the PM

District of Columbia All American - more audio stuff pls

I just signed a contract this morning with my trainer Pablo  (i think he played Babu in WWF very briefly in the mid 90s)

basically stating im "his guy" and if i make it to WWE or TNA, he gets 5% of my salary yearly.

i mean....the chances of me making it to the top are slim to none, so i figure ill just cross that bridge if i get there.

a couple of his guys are getting FCW/NXT tryouts next month as well.

one of them (i just know him as JB) is going to be getting a Gutcheck tryout (the preliminary tryouts prior to being on the actual contest on a taping) next month as well.

Worked on spots and bumped for about 4 hours today. Lot of rope runs as well, back is sore as hell.

Been alot of fun, getting some strong insight into the business. the political aspect of it especially.
Good going bruh.

I'm rooting for you heavy, man.

Do you thing, homie and I truly hope you become a success.

Just don't forget about your NTWT fam when you're smashing skeezers and seeing the world.

- There was a rumor recently going around WWE that Scott Hall and Jake Roberts were under consideration for induction into the WWE Hall of Fame this year, likely because of their recent training with Diamond Dallas Page. The report states that Page may have been the one to suggest the idea to WWE.

We noted before how Hall could be inducted with The Kliq, if they go in. It wasn’t clear which group was getting more internal consideration – DX or The Kliq, but both were at least discussed.

An induction for Hall or Roberts is not confirmed and it’s said that Roberts would be more likely than Hall to go in by himself. At the same time, Hall would have the support of guys like Shawn Michaels and others.

- We’ve noted how WWE officials are interested in bringing back some familiar midcard names to the roster. Part of the reason for this is to help with live event attendance, mainly on the SmackDown side.

- It was recently reported that Tommy Dreamer’s name was brought up in a WWE creative meeting about surprise Royal Rumble entrants. MVP and Shelton Benjamin were also discussed for the Rumble. Their names have came up a lot within the company lately. They are part of the list of talents WWE would like to bring back to help with the roster depth and attendance. The problem with MVP returning is that he’s under contract to New Japan.

Another name rumored within WWE recently was Low Ki, formerly known as Kaval on NXT. Kaval is considered a long shot and his return is probably just a rumor.

One team we can expect to see in the 30-man Rumble match is The New Age Outlaws – “Road Dogg” BG James and Billy Gunn.

:lol You guys expected different this time?

Yea, i wanted to buy '13 but i would always read how their servers were just as bad as '12.

How you continue to have ****** servers when you know multiplayer is huge blows my mind.

I'll be attending tonight's episode of Raw in San Jose. Looking forward to enjoy my first wrestling event in years. Hopefully the crowd will be into it and my Harbaugh 3:16 sign makes it on TV. LOL.

Just read Club's update, that's great man.. keep up the hard work. All those years of booking yourself in NTWT Main Events are finally paying off.

not even multiplayer, multiplayer is wack. Community Creations is huuuuuuuuge though.

but nope can't get online to download or upload ****

Cesaro = beast :x

I don't think anyone should stop romanticizing the idea of a cruiserweight division. There are guys who are on the roster that will never get used that would be finally made to show their worth. Everyone who is small isn't going to get a push for the WWE/IC titles. Let them cook in a lower division.

Nope. Just let them wrestle then. The cruiserweight title won't do anything to get anyone over. Didn't do things for London, Helms, Chavo, etc. Hell, no point in even arguing. Hornswoggle buried that title dead anyways. It's never coming back.

Congrats Club..Hope you make it big..And remember if you ever need a fat dude with a pony tail to be your manager, ala Paul Heyman, just let me know..I'm ready to go on short notice..:p

@Club congrats best of luck.

Now that the TNA lawsuit is over maybe Jeff Hardy has a chance to jump to WWE

- Vince McMahon remains very high on Daniel Bryan. A source says to expect big things for Bryan in 2013 once his tag team with Kane has run its course which is expected to end after WrestleMania.

- The recent RAW opening segment with Vince McMahon and new World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio was designed to re-affirm Vince’s endorsement of Del Rio. After going back and forth on the face turn at first, Vince has been pleased with the way it’s going so far.

- WWE officials were happy with the recent RAW segment with Ric Flair, Antonio Cesaro and The Miz but especially pleased with Cesaro’s performance. The segment was designed to help get The Miz over as a babyface but there was a feeling that Cesaro shined as usual.

- WWE officials still have plans to introduce a new WWE Title belt. Word is that it will likely come before mid-year and that CM Punk won’t be the guy to introduce it.

- It was noted earlier how MVP’s contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling may keep him from appearing at WWE’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view as an entrant in the main event. MVP responded to those reports on Twitter and noted that his deal with NJPW is per appearance and that he has no contractual obligation to them.
