Update on possible Wrestlemania match ups.

Spoiler [+]
As of right now, the only matches seemingly set in stone for WrestleMania 25 are Triple H vs. Randy Orton, Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy, and Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker.

Mickie Rourke is telling people that he won't be attending WrestleMania 25, but WWE is expecting him to change his mind after the Academy Awards on Sunday. If Rourke still doesn't bite, WWE has laid out a possible backup plan where Chris Jericho will beat down a number of legends week after week on RAW, building up to a big match with Hogan at WM 25.

If Rourke did come through to face Jericho, that would free up Hogan to then wrestle someone like John Cena. Cena is currently involved in a program with Edge which COULD lead them right into WrestleMania. It all really depends on Rourke and what he chooses to do AFTER Sunday's Oscars. He doesn't want to risk not getting an Oscar due to taking part in a WWE angle. Rourke's concerns are legitimate, as the entertainment industry still has a very negative view on wrestling.

Also, expect the annual tradition of Money in the Bank matches at WrestleMania to continue this year.

I REALLY don't see a Hogan vs. Cena matchup...it's just not gonna happen, Edge vs. Cena seems like a given @ WM. Hogan vs. Jericho is much more likely, unfortunately...

R-Truth is (surprisingly) on the official poster for WM, so I think him being in the MITB match is possible...along with MVP.

^I think R-Truth could be on the poster for some diversity lol, just to not seem racist after doing what they did to MVP and all
Spoiler [+]
I don't see why they would do Cena/Hogan either or Hogan/Jericho, I know that Austin has had injuries and everything, but I think he could survive another match. And after seeing Hogan in that match with HBK up there it looks like it would be a complete job for Jericho

It is a good idea to bring in HHH into this feud and I wasn't expecting it until the idea came up that he could move to Raw to be the champion. Also, to me this means Orton will be beating HHH at Wrestlemania for the title because of how they have been pushing Orton recently.

Wha doesn't make sense to me though is that they did stay with the idea of Edge being a Smackdown Superstar and will be staying there, which means Cena will move to Smackdown, which means that the WWE is putting their biggest name on their second tier show. They may think it could save it, but they have really been milking Cena. Obviously, they are trading Cena and HHH, who seem to be their top two stars as the faces in the WWE right now.
I dont know, I dont think the politician will lay down to Orton at Mania.

As for his nose being the 2ed biggest face in the industry, I think the Taker is also above him, maybe even HBK as well, and obviously Cena. But, he wants you and me to think he is the biggest face, when he is actualy the biggest ahole.
Here's how I would rank the top 5 faces and heels in the WWE in a completely unbiased order:
FACES
1) The Undertaker (he will get cheered over ANYONE in a match)
2) Cena
3) Jeff Hardy
4) HHH
5) HBK/Mysterio

HEELS
1) Jericho (I say this because EVERYONE boos Jericho, people hate him)
2) Edge
3) Orton
4) Matt Hardy
5) MVP

Jericho is #1 on that list for wrestlers... #2 for all employees. Nobody, and I do mean NOBODY, catches heat like Vickie Guerrero. It's literallyimpossible to hear what she's saying live...

Damn, I forgot to mention that when I quoted 4w's post...

There is not anyone in the WWE, wrestler or non-wrestler, in the last year or so who receives as much heat as Vickie Guerrero on a CONSISTENT basis...it'sthe reason why the 'E have kept her on the GM role for so long.

Jericho and Regal (after he had won King of the Ring) have had their stretches but nothing like Vickie's.

"EXCUSE ME!"

Guaranteed to draw even more heat.

Definitely agree with that. And I would drop MVP from the list and add JBL.

Dam, how did we all forget Vicky? MVP did have good heat while he was a heel, but he is more of a tweener these days.

* Jeff Hardy vs. Edge
- Edge controls most of the match. Hardy hits his signatures. Twist of Fate countered into an Edge O' Matic. Jeff connects with a Swanton Bomb. Matt Hardy comes out and interferes. I'm saying...

It's weird to see that WWE is treating Christian like a "new" superstar (e.g. Kizarny, Tyson Kidd, ) rather than a "returning"superstar (e.g. Chris Jericho). Correct me if I am wrong, but I feel Christian and Jericho left the 'E' fairly close to the same time... Christian hasnew music, new ring attire, well, updated ring attire, (although I think I remember some lawsuit WWE faced with the whole "Captain Charisma Logo,"but I may be wrong) and after tonight's "Unprettier" I could've sworn I heard Matt Striker say: "that's a move that Christian likesto call the **Kill-Switch."

When Jericho came back he was quickly thrown into the main event scene vs. Randy Orton, which didn't really take off quite well, then he went into themid-card for a bit winning the Intercontinental Title, then went right back into the main event scene winning the World Heavyweight Title and having atremendous feud with HBK which cemented Y2J as one of the top heels in the business today. Perhaps WWE learned from this and is just slowly bringing Christianalong, getting some work in, adjusting to life away from TNA, then when he is 'back in the swing of things' he'll get that major push. I think thisis why he is in ECW to get reacquainted with the WWE work load and to help develop my dude Jack Swagger.

**Kill-Switch? Really?
