Wrestling Thread August 15th-20th/ Tonight NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II At 8PM Eastern/ SummerSlam This

I am sure RikiDozan was thrown in there for the harcore fans.

THIS list makes more sense. I bought this book from HighSpots back in 2003. Meltzer helped put it together as well

WrestlingClassics.com Message Board: The top 100 Pro Wrestlers of all time: Spoilers, from the book! http://wrestlingclassics.com/cgi-bin/.ubbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=7;t=000104;p=0
The book was based on a number of factors, including in-ring skill, drawing power, longevity, entertainment factor and a number of others. Some of these are rather interesting, some seem out of place, and so on. Who do you feel belongs, does not belong, etc...? Let's talk about what we think, and just discuss it. If this is based from 2003, then its just outdated

If this is not based from 03, then this list is worse than the SI one. Where is Kurt

Well those lists are clearly wrong. Bret Hart is the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be. He said so himself!

Who can one really say is the best all around wrestler that could do it all?
Just like any performance art form, there are metrics than can be used to make an argument for/against certain folks.

We aren't just talking about in ring ability.

Looking back at Jerichos career dude is easily top 10. Even though I preferred him in WCW.

Top 10 since the 1990s, sure. (Probably still don't agree) But There is a whole century of wrestling to consider before he debuted though

I started watching wrestling in 89 but I was three years old at that time. So for me as seeing his whole career before my eyes I can say he's top 10. That I have seen grow.

That is a different statement than saying, "HE is Top 10 all time."

Saying he is Top 10 from what I have witnessed makes MUCH more sense

Wouldn't argue there

Who else is in That 10?

Anyone going to Summer Slam or NXT Take Over ?

Squad link up? 8o

Pre-game drinks ? 8o

Pick up basketball game? 8o

He is your favorite, but there is no logical explanation in saying he is the best wrestler of all time

Sure. My knowledge on the history of wrestling is extremely limited. Ive never studied the old days of wrestling. I only know what happened between 96-02 and 2014-now. But from what I've seen since I started watching wrestling in 96, there hasn't been another guy who had the combination of in-ring ability, mic work and charisma that Jericho had. Lets be real, Stone Cold was probably the greatest character of all time. But was he that great in the ring? Naw fam.

Jericho is gawd

So Jericho is better than HBK?
