Wrestling Thread April 14-May 4 | 5/3 WWE Extreme Rules PPV Prediction Contest Now Open!

Is Bray babyface now? Or just acting like one to sell the "controlling the crowd thing"

Just now saw the kids choir segment omg that was amazing. Even more creepy than the cm punk signing to aaliyah sigment. He's really making a name for himself pretty face he better go over extreme rules.

Being the reason cena turns heel > beating the streak

how long can they run orton as the main event heel before they realize no one cares anymore,i like orton but at this point who cares esepcially now that hes watered down.think they need to push that roman heel turn asap and have him face dbry.too many heels getting fan support even bnb got the crowd on his side lol.
wwe needs a true heel that the crowd hates just as much as they LOVE dbry.keep n his girl away from his title run pleaseee.
They need to let him cook. Also doesn't help that Shovel was the main villain in that storyline. He had a ton of momentum after the unification match, just let him work.

Orton looks awesome as a champ, and I like how in-ring he plays a classic heel, but damn he was a crappy champion  If they didn't love him so much, and if they had other legit heels on deck to push, I think he would've been shuffled down the card

ive been addicted to shoot interviews, but i think i saw everyone that is free on youtube. haha for anyone interested the bam bam one is good, the nash one is good even though you can tell he lies and just loves giving himself credit. and i think one of the best ones is new age outlaws, when they were beefing wit wwe and hhh. any suggestions?

I have nearly all of them, all theecw, most WCW and almost all wwf, rikishi, val, cornette, ivory, etc they are OK but get boring fast, most wrestlers for some ODD reason (sarcasm) don't have the best memeory. Jim cornette was the best bc he has like a giant book about attendance, ppv cards and his memory is better than anyone in the business

John2st has been an asset to this thread since he started posting regularly.
Don't lie to him man. :nerd:

That Sting Letter was obviously sent by a young 4w..:smh:
Yup.............

nice i deff have to get involved asap.. it pains me to watch raw these days by the way. its way to much tv production and soapy for me anymore. with the camera angles, the scripts, the acting. its just killing the sport. i rather watch the off the wall gimmicks and stuff like that any day..
Same here man. Every Monday at 11 I ask myself, "Why did you waste your time." And I have the nerve to turn "stuff" down to stay home and watch RAW. It is almost like wrestling has a psychological hold on me man.

God I miss Serena :wow:
She still wrestles

ONE NIGHT ONLY! Three-time WWE champion in his spoken-word show, “Tales From Wrestling Past”.
June 19
Special Event!
Get tickets!
He's a three-time WWE champion, a hardcore legend and a member of the WWE Hall of Fame. Now, Mick Foley is unleashing the same trademark blend of wit and wisdom, wildness and warmth that made his books so beloved (five self-penned New York Times best-sellers) into his one-man spoken-word stage show, “Tales From Wrestling Past”. Foley has wowed both crowds and critics alike with his unique stage show – leading “Chortle”, the UK’s most respected comedy source to write “Foley himself is charm personified – eloquent, funny and self-effacing” and the decidedly non-wrestling publication “Broadway Baby” to muse, “if you’re interested at all in wrestling you’ll love it; if you’re not, you’ll like it.”

Drawing from his 28 years of travel, Foley finds humor in the unlikeliest of places – the loss of an ear, the “dedication” of a porn-star working in a knee-brace, a United States President reciting his wrestling catch-phrase. Foley himself refers to “Tales From Wrestling Past” as “like being in the ring, without getting hurt” – a welcome distinction coming from a man who gave so much, to so many, for so long. Join the Hardcore Legend on his latest journey down life’s highway – an eclectic trip into the surreal world of the days of wrestling past.

WAR OF THE WORLDS on Saturday May 17th at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City will be an unforgettable night for wrestling fans. This event will see ROH talent face off against New Japan talent in a true war between two worlds. ROH and New Japan officials have decided which competitors from their respective organizations they want to see face off against one another. We are thrilled to announce these rare encounters:

ROH & NJPW Present: WAR OF THE WORLDS
Saturday, May 17th, 2014 – 7:30PM
The Hammerstein Ballroom – New York City

ROH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
Winner of Adam Cole vs. Kevin Steen from GLOBAL WARS (ROH) vs. Jushin “Thunder” Liger (NJPW)

It will certainly be a historic contest as ROH’s top wrestler defends his World Championship against the legendary Jushin Liger. Will Liger change the international landscape of professional wrestling by becoming the ROH World Champion? Or will Adam Cole/Kevin Steen walk out of New York with the gold and add this huge win to their list of accomplishments?

IWGP HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
"Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada vs. "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin (ROH)
**5/3 in Fukuoka, Japan Kazuchika Okada defends the IWGP Heavyweight Championship against AJ Styles. The winner of that match will defend against Michael Elgin on May 17th

Elgin earned his IWGP Heavyweight Championship opportunity by defeated Kevin Steen at Supercard of Honor 8. With Elgin obsessed on winning World Championships, will his New Japan dream finally come true? Or can Okada defend his gold on American soil?

ROH WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
Champions: The Young Bucks (Bullet Club) vs. reDRagon (ROH)

The Young Bucks shocked fans by capturing the ROH World Tag Championships from reDRagon a few months ago. reDRagon has already earned their championship rematch and looks for redemption against the current IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team and ROH World Tag Team Champion Young Bucks. reDRagon has been ruthless in the ring since losing the gold. Will they get back the championships that they held for the better part of last year? Or will The Young Bucks prove that what happened a few months back was not an upset or fluke?

IWGP WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
Champions: Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows (Bullet Club) vs. Jay & Mark Briscoe (ROH)

The Briscoes are 8 time ROH World Tag Team Champions. Can they add the IWGP World Tag Team Titles to their list of accomplishments? Or will the big man tag team of Anderson and Gallows retain?

I thought you and your readers might find this kind of interesting: according to NorthAmericanWrestlingRankings.blogspot.com, [which started keeping track of wrestlers’ records and ranking them as of Nov. 2006], when Kofi Kingston lost to Bad News Barrett on the 4/29/14 episode of Main Event it was his 100th televised singles loss!

Kofi is just the 3rd wrestler to loss 100 matches [behind only Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger] and just the 2nd to register triple digit wins AND losses [Dolph being the first]. Others closing in on the century mark for losses as of 4/29/14 are: The Miz [94] and Zack Ryder [90].

[NOTE: these records count t.v. and ppv singles matches since Nov. 2006 ONLY].

Kofi? Nation of Jobbernation :smh:

Swagger? We The Jobbers :smh:

Miz, Ryder, Ziggler? JOB Squad :smh:
