Land Rover has finished dead last in reliability according to Consumer Reports about 3 of the last 5 years or something like that including 2009.

DO NOT TAKE THE RANGE.

With that being emphasized, if it were I, the Trailblazer would be my choice because both the Trailblazer and the Escalade are made by the same major company(GMC) so the possible problems would be the same on both cars, both are equally fun to drive, you're just getting better value with the Trailblazer with the lower mileage. Think long term.

Trailblazer... if your on a budget on $30k, the Blazer will be easy to fix and maintain while you stack your chips to move up to Escalade range, no pun intended
