Another question is: Where are the clowns that labelled AP the greatest back of all time prematurely?

A bust NEVER meant being a bum...it ALWAYS meant not meeting expectations. Alot of people get that confused.
BINGO
I'm sorry...but players create their paths. When you go out and perform other worldly on one level...of COURSE people and the media are going to expect that to continue on the next level. It's not like random players are picked and given a world of expectations to fulfill. I mean...do you believe Saints management thought they were JUST getting a valuable all around play maker at #2?Originally Posted by Mez 0ne
He never was one, he's just not what ya'll expected him to be.

With so many weapons on that offense, not everyone is going to put up Pro-Bowl numbers.
I understand the argument that he did not live up to "#2 overall expectations" but he's still a productive player and a very valuable part of the Saints offense.
Not meeting expectations does not necessarily make you a bust.
He is a major disappointment. the Saints to have to keep 3 other RBs on the roster to make up for the deficiencies of their #2 pick in the draft. thats crazyOriginally Posted by Im Not You

How so? Especially in Pro Football where expectation and draft slots mean ALOT.

He's a great football player, and a great asset to a very good team. Any team would be happy to have him. And therefore, no bust.

he is a nice role player, change of pace type of play. but you dont draft him #2 to be a role player
