I can attest to the VAST difference between someplace like Harvard, and someplace like "hood U"Originally Posted by TBONE95860

The name of the school matters most when you're looking for a job. So getting a 3.8 may be just as hard as getting it at Harvard than at Hood college.
You can't really define a "good" gpa in those terms.
Just as hard?!?!?
Okay you obviously don't know what you're talking about.
Not for people who are going to go to graduate school like myself (Law School).Originally Posted by D723
TBONE I hope you realize that rank of school in your undergraduate career usually ends up meaning very little.

I'm looking at probably a 3.91 this semester.
Getting a Rhodes or Marshall Scholarship would seriously be my wildest dream come true. But I probably won't even apply because there'll probably be no chance for me.Originally Posted by impalaballa187
4.0 when I transferred...looking like a 2.7 1st semester. gotta graduate with at least a 3.7 to have hope for the Rhodes Scholarship.

@ rough transitions%#+@'s intense. What do you wanna study at Oxford?, straight gave me the anal business...with no vaseline either. I would look into their PPE program (philosophy, politics, and economics) and then try to finish out with a dual J.D/MBA from harvard. I obviously have political ambitions.
lol you're smart enough to know that no one has a need for four degrees though. out of all the notable politicians, only cox and romney have ajd/mba, and i'm pretty sure no one has three grad school degrees. if you do that and, you're gonna be like 30 something when you start working. But props on being so ambitious. if you accomplish all that, it'llbe %@%#%+%
