Never knew it was that easy. Instructions from DD-WRT forums had a lot of other stuff they wanted me to do to.

Glad you got it working and figured out step 5 needed to be 192.168.1.254, I just saw that. This is the BEST way to increase your wireless range without sacrificing speed, forget repeaters, powerline, or aluminum foil
