Any negatives to Rice Milk?
Also, how's almond milk?
I've tried both rice and almond milks and I enjoy both. They're lighter than soy milk, but still great with cereal. The relative disadvantage to bothis that they aren't quite as substantive in terms of protein etc. Rice milk in particular tends to be pretty high in sugar as well, which is something tobe aware of. Similarly, almond milk is often higher in sodium. I think either one is a fine alternative - just understand that you can't use them toprovide the same nutrients associated with animal milk or even soy milk. Depending on how fortified they are, you won't get anywhere near the same amountof B12, calcium, iron, or vitamins A & D. Making up for that through other foods is no problem, it's just something to be aware of.
